Nashville is ONLY () a 15 hour drive from Fargo, so people could always drive also if they don’t want to fly it, so that could make a difference. Flights were sky high to Vegas and a lot of people flew out of airports not normally in the conversation. Nashville could just be easier to get to for many in the Midwest.

I think it is hard to judge when they haven’t played a non-exhibition game in 3 weeks... Guess time will tell. funny enough their next opponents are Mankato and Wisconsin, so looks like their opening schedule is similar to ours.

To clarify my statement, there are 3 threads on Vegas with pretty much no discussion on the game until Sodbuster brought it up. Now I’m not going to Vegas so discussion on travel plans bores me to death.

I think Button only ranked players he’s seen play this season. (He’s said that in past years with his list) With Rizzo being injured that could be part of it.

Yes, but a lot of people thought he should of been coming initially anyways. He was ready - I get the impression he thought he was gonna be coming in, then they deferred him, and then Carter Huber decided to stay home weeks after they announced the freshman class.

I think there was some speculation here that he was injured. I saw him walking around during intermission at Friday’s game and didn’t see any noticeable casts, braces, foot in a boot... (which might not mean anything) I would think if he was healthy we would have seen him Saturday.

Of course not, but judging this year’s team 2 games in based on last year’s results is short sighted. I moved on from last season, and would recommend everyone else do the same.

Jones had at least one of these three on his line most if not all of last season. I think they were hoping it would rub off on those three.

That first line is the worst first line I’ve seen for UND in a long time. Also a bad 2nd line. This is how much I don’t like it. If they could prove me wrong that’d be great.

Look, I’m not happy about this game. But we have lost a season opener to Bemidji before. (Last time we ran off 10 wins in a row or something after the opening loss -see 14-15 season). Lack of scoring is a concern, but we are not the only team with this struggle to start a season. Who knows if it’ll be a season long struggle or will work itself out over the next few months. I think everyone is still a bit salty over last season.

If it makes you feel better on my birthday we lost to BU in 2OT at the Fargo regional in 2017.

From what I read, BSU is going towards a streaming based platform so they got rid of the TV option.
