Went back to rewatch some older games from the past season to refresh my memory on what kind of player he is and he is exactly what this team needs.

Stratton, to my knowledge, will be here but sitting out the year to serve his WHL penalty. I haven’t yet heard that this has changed. Carson Albrecht is the other forward that will be here. The others I do not believe will be here without someone else departing.

It seems to me the NCAA opted overwhelmingly for newer venues (Buffalo, Detroit, Pittsburgh) for the Frozen Four sites the last round instead of destination cities. Hopefully when the next round of host cities are announced we’ll have more of a mix, preferably with them not all in the Eastern time zone.

I realize you weren’t asking me, but I’ve seen him play 10 playoff games. He’s an intriguing player. His on ice vision is insane.

I am curious if they would flip Michaud and Pinto so there’s not 2 freshmen on the same line to start the season.

Well the incoming class has at least one player who fits that description.

The leading scorer on Wenatchee had 51 points so the coach clearly overestimated the offensive capabilities of his team. Also, to be fair, Stratton had 62 points if we are including playoffs, since he was very good during their playoff run. The stats above aren’t factoring those in for the BCHL.

That was me. They hadn’t decided yet on Rizzo when I posted that. I was speculating they were waiting on Michaud’s decision.

Blaisdell committed early because of the WHL draft. He knew he wasn’t going that route so he committed before so the team’s knew his plans. The WHL draft probably has a something to do with some of the early recruiting we see. (Personally, I find it amusing when I see some WHL fan complain about college early recruiting when they have a Bantam Draft.)

It’s a combination of political science, International Relations and economics. CC doesn’t have business majors unless you count economics, so it’s likely pretty similar to UND’s Public Administration major, which is a combination of political science and business management.

I had heard Guch was playing with an injury most of the season, so hopefully he can get healthy in the offseason and be at full strength next season.

I really hope people are not basing anything off post game comments, interviews, radio show appearances, because that’s ridiculous. No one knows what goes on in that locker room when no one is around, in the off season when no one is around, etc. We only see what they choose to show us. Yeah Berry is a master of Coach Speak. Well if someone here said we were going to win the Natty they’d get called crazy by the downers around here so what are we supposed to say?

It’s one thing to be frustrated, which we all are, but it’s another to essentially give up on the team 6 months before puck is dropped. I was frustrated as all hell this year. But I’m going to wait and see how this next year plays out. I thought we lacked talent up front which was glaringly displayed with a 2.5 goals scored per game and a piss poor PP. I want to see how the new guys fit in first before I go all doom and gloom like everyone else.

You do know how long a process recruiting is, right? Berry was out recruiting all last week. As an example of how long the recruiting process is, they were recruiting Rizzo for 2 years before he committed. Expecting him to snap his fingers and have a recruit to pull out of the bag is a bit much. You also sound like next season is already a lost cause.
