Time for the offense to get its act together and drive the length of the field for 6.

The good news is we are ahead. The bad news is we should be leading by a lot more. Missed extra point, strange play calling, poor decision making by the QB and some missed throws that should have been completed. Lots to improve on in the second half on the offensive side.

Well, it did burn a whole second off the clock. Brilliant! If they passed the ball it would have only burned off the same amount of time.

I thought Jerry played a pretty good game for his first start being on the road against an FBS team. Hopefully he just keeps getting better from here, if so the future looks pretty bright. The play calling was brutal at times, the most noticeable being the run on second down with 2:01 left in the game. KState makes an unbelievably stupid decision to take a timeout just before the two minute warning and you don’t make them pay for it. Wow. That would be my first question to the UND coaching staff: “what in the hell were you thinking?”.

Poor play calling in the 3rd quarter and the second to last possession when they could have put the game away. When you’re playing an FBS opponent and have the lead late you can’t play scared. Go out and win the game.

Catch that and you get a FG try.

Got to catch that.
