Don’t expect any upward movement by beating Duluth. There are still at 18. Watch the RPI as that will pretty much mimic the Pairwise. They are currently closer to 22 than 17 in RPI. Pretty much need to sweep Western next weekend. Anything else and they probably need to win the conference tourney to get in.

Could be. Not much of a loss based on this season. Disappointed in his development, thought he’d take another step this year…I guess he did but it was a step backwards.

If the goalies are equal then I would favor the sophomore over the fifth year senior. Much better odds he will improve with playing time.

Need to find the positives for Brad Berry: 1. They won’t lose another first round NC$$ tourney game this year. 2. More free time to find the next portal goalie.

The 05-06 team had zajac, stafford, toews, oshie, duncan among other talented players. This team has no where near that skill level.

Terrible coaching, offensive line and QB playing. This was never going to be a good matchup for the Queens but this is ridiculous. The defense played well enough that they should have been in this game, instead it was over by halftime. Darnold’s fumble and the stupid decision to go for it on 4th down from midfield late in the first half basically ended any chance. Another Viking season implodes at the end. Shocked, just shocked. 🙄

Eight sacks(so far). Watch, next week they probably will get no pressure on the QB.

Darnold is dumber than a rock

Any team that signs Darnold to a long term contract for big money deserves to suck.

Also, get someone who knows how to evaluate college players. The current regime has been absolutely brutal with their picks.

The Vikings are one of the oldest teams in the league. Need to blow this team up and rebuild the interior lines on both sides of the ball. Need cornerback help. Do this while you have a lot of cap space. Under no circumstances do you sign Darnold, it will destroy any future.

Don’t see any chance of either. I think this ends any discussion of signing Darnold for next season. No fricken way. He is not a franchise QB and never will be.

O’Connell is very overrated as an offensive play caller.

I believe that team had something like 13 freshman.

He has not played well this weekend. Every time I notice him it is for poor play. I can understand why he didn’t make the world juniors. Still a freshman but he needs to pick it up a bit.

The NFL needs to do better. Giving home field to teams that win poor divisions is a joke. Home field is too big of an advantage to give it to teams that didn’t earn it during the regular season. i would suggest a point system where a win is worth two points, a tie is one point and winning a division is worth a three point bonus. Under that system the seeding would be: 1. Detroit 15-2 33 points 2. Philadelphia 14-3 31 points 3. Minnesota 14-3 28 points 4. Washington 12-5 24 points 5. Tampa 10-7 23 points 6. LA 10-7 23 points 7. Green Bay 11-6 22 points For the most part home field advantage in the other major sports is irrelevant because the playoffs are a best of seven (usually) series.

We were down 2-0 and started the second period on the power play. Jake Schmaltz being out there to begin the power play tells me all I need to know about the coaching and talent on this team.

This team is brutal. Can’t pass, can’t shoot, can’t defend. Long past time for a coaching change. So frustrating to watch this crap.

Looks a lot like the fist half of the season. No reason to think anything will change. We are what we are, an average hockey team.
