I am actually with beersong and DHG on the goal lap issue. It's obvious that they see it as an insult to them for opposing fans to do it, so don't do it. I remember being in Duluth for the series during the 2001-02 disaster that we called a hockey season. Some Sioux fans almost brawled with tPB after we scored the go-ahead (and GWG) and they tried running around the arena with a Sioux flag. DHG and Co. wasn't havin it at all. Duluth...good times.

Bloomington Ice Gardens is a pretty nice rink. I played there a few times in my youth hockey days. I would not be adverse to an arena around an establishment for a post-game beverage or two (probably not more since I have to drive back to Grand Forks afterwards).

They look at head to head first I believe. I think they would look at the first game since the scoring counts for NCAA stats this year. It wasn't exhibition...it was counted as non-conference. I could be wrong though.

If I remember correctly, after the Gopher sweep at REA two years ago (Shep let that one get out of control) Blais declined to talk to the media saying he didn't want to say anything he'd regret.
