OK thanks, didn't know that.

Would it be possible for a mod to put some kind of sticky at the beginning of the football forum where we could track who is signed, verballed, offered, etc...? Would be much easier than scanning page after page looking for someone when they are mentioned later.

NDSU -9 O/U 45 GSU Much respect for the NDSU defense holding GS to about 18 points. SHSU -2 O/U 60 EWU This should be a fun one to watch, looks like a track meet on paper.
-
Looks like he also has offers from USD, SDSU, and Northern Colorado, would you guess DB for this kid? His bio says 4.4 40 and 10.3 100, another burner if true.

1) Harvard kids should not have to cheat 2) Harvard kids should be smart enough not to get caught cheating Which of those is more correct?

Apparently caught Illinois off guard too...and another amusing sidenote. http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?s=169&f=2617&t=11042435&p=2

I saw that too, confidence is not a problem apparently. 3 star rating out of HS so the talent is there, hopefully the character has shown up too.

Well, that's definitely him and it says he was there Friday and he put UND as his education so it could be. Talks a lot about his "second chance" so might have his crap together. Early to say it, but what a two-headed monster him and Hardin would be...wow!

JJ Robertson from Illinois.

Committed to UND? That would be a big catch if they could keep him eligible. Have to see this one in writing before I completely buy it though.

That's good, gives people an option anyway...and you can spend your $12 on...um...food and such

That might be true, but he can't let his own career be flattened because he won't pull the trigger and at least look at somebody else. He's had chances to put Webb in against Chicago a few weeks ago and TB before that and hasn't, they play at Houston in 2 weeks, chances are that game will get out of hand and he will have a chance to let Webb take some snaps, if they get significantly down and he doesn't give Webb some snaps then he never will.
-
He was supposed to play for Illinois last year but couldn't get in academically, went JUCO and was supposed to start spring ball next semester if he maintained B average but according to one of their fansites yesterday it might not happen, reason unknown. Too bad, highly rated out of HS.

Yeah I'm not dropping $24 for two games either, that is a little stiff. Just thinking out loud here, and it wouldn't help me, but could a bar pick up that webcast and show it in GF so people could watch it? Don't really know the rules about college webcasts, maybe Jayson could shed some light?
-
Well deserved, he was awesome this year. One thing about it...as long as the new QB can get the ball down the field UND is always going to have a "punchers chance" in games with this guy.

It's not so much the losing that's been bad, they should lose because they have been playing against better opponents, but the margins have been terrible...most BSC teams have been getting destroyed by teams that they should be able to at least hang around with or slipping by teams they should handle easier. Agreed though, teams like Idaho State and Montana State look brutal, and I'm not so sure SUU isn't about the same.

We are stuck with Ponder as long as Frazier is coach, he can't admit he's not the answer. We're in the same boat as Jets fans are with Rex Ryan and Sanchez...Sanchez is terrible and everybody knows it, but Ryan won't go elsewhere (not that Tebow is the answer either, but they need to do something). And winning games like they did yesterday is not going to push Frazier to make a move either, with Minnesota holding on to a slim playoff possibility and a winnable game with St. Louis next week there is no doubt Ponder will be finishing up this year and starting next year. The game yesterday pretty much summarizes the whole Viking year: Peterson breaks off some big runs early and they take a lead Frazier immediately switches to his not-to-lose mentality and puts his balls in his pocket early Chicago starts coming back Vikings luck out and get a pick 6, up 14 End of the Vikings offense, we are now committed to running out the clock with 3:27 left in the third Chicago moves the ball and looks like they will close the gap and a miracle happens...Hester drops a TD pass with 4:00 left Vikings do nothing on offense for the 8th straight drive Chicago gets it back and scores and can't recover the onside kick I have no doubt in my mind if Hester catches that pass this game ends up in OT. Notice how that whole summary you didn't see Ponders name once? That's because he did nothing to win this game. The only way Ponder isn't under center starting next year is if they somehow end up with a free agent or someone who's cut loose and the one that comes to mind...and I hate to think about it...is Vick. That's the kind of move this team is famous for.

Overall the BSC has looked terrible so far except for Weber, the non-conference games have really cast a dark shadow on the league. Montana should start playing better because Cherry is about ready to go, but some of the other teams need to get it going or this conference is going to be a two team race.
-
So UND is 2 points behind Minnesota and 3 points behind Denver but has played 2 less conference games than either. Take 2 from Tech next weekend and we'll be in thick of it going into the break.

There were two I remember well.

I saw CC just scored must have been almost no time left...come on Floating Tigers.
