That's a valid point, although Kristo was more an issue of terrible judgement than Frattin which was flat lawbreaking. It definitely hurt Frattin, not sure how much they would hold it against Kristo.

Cherry only played about 10 or 12 minutes and not very well, he's only been practicing about 10 days so it might take a couple weeks to get up to speed, then Montana should improve quite a bit. Montana State has not been good so far, I'm surprised they kept it close at NAU.

Not a good start to conference play, everyone has picked SUU as a bottom dweller and UND has to beat teams like that even if it is on the road. They have to figure out these road woes, 2 years is enough.

Wouldn't that be a revenge game too? Seems to me EWU knocked them out on their title run. EWU has been an up and down team but if I'm NDSU I would rather play SHSU and their one-dimensional approach, it plays into the Bisons strength although GSU ran fairly well last night. EWU can score in bunches and passes for over 300 yards/game, they could actually give the Bison trouble through the air.

I think NDSU should be favored over whoever wins the game today, neither one has a good enough defense to force Jensen to beat them, which to me is the weak link for NDSU. Unless EWU/SHSU can put them down multiple scores and make Jensen throw the ball, NDSU should be able to hang around with the running game and stiff D and pull it out .

Yeah, that game will probably be better than 95% of the Bowl games, I think the game today will be good too.

I'm not against a change in playoff format, but you can't schedule 3-game weekends for 3 or 4 weeks in a row, the kids are beat up by the end of the year and either the conference tournaments are going to have to be changed to less games or they are going to have to take a week off between the conference tournaments and the start of the NCAA tournament...you cannot expect them to play 9 games in 17 days, it's not sensible or responsible.

Not the best game for Williams last night, the missed tackle on the TD was not good but letting the kid get behind him on 4th and 11 could have been disastrous if the ball would have been thrown a couple more yards. Looked like GSU had the momentum after NDSU roughed the punter in his own endzone and GSU drove it the length of the field for a TD, that was a 10-14 point swing, but then the 2 personal fouls on the last NDSU drive pretty much sealed their fate. Good game all the way, should be a good championship game too.

4th down again at the 33, GSU kicker sucks but they're going to attempt it...with a different kicker? And he...gets it blocked and throws a pass...to a lineman...which is illegal...FU declines and takes over...and will kneel it out. Great game, GSU with 30 yards of penalties on the last FU scoring drive, Jensen gets it done with his legs in the end. Go EWU.
