Seems to me there are 6 or 7 DB's listed but I don't know if any of them are studs...any idea geaux_sioux? Makes me wonder with no secondary recruits signed up yet if they are counting on some of these guys heavily?

Yeah I really like that area, we stay downtown when we go to Twins series and the atmosphere is great, like you said lots of food and entertainment and you can use the skyways and avoid weather/traffic if you want to.

IIRC it was underthrown a little, he had Williams beat by 3 yards and probably would have scored if it was layed out another couple yards. But the whole soccer player kicking at the end was a crazy twist.

That's good to know when getting seats, hopefully they will stick a few bucks into it before the NCHC starts using it.

I think they would have but that's just my opinion. NDSU seems built to stop the run and didn't play a legit passing team in the tournament, but SHSU threw for over 250 against them when they were forced to. EWU threw for almost 500 yards against SHSU and to me seemed better suited to move the ball against NDSU's stop-the-run-at-all-costs defense. Maybe it would have ended exactly the same, but to me EWU would have had better options to deal with NDSU's defense. But EWU's defense was horrible so it wouldn't have mattered.

It doesn't matter how good they are, Notre Dame has always had a large fanbase from coast to coast and NBC knows and will continue to capitalize on that. They're a lot like the Cubs (except a better product), they continue to sell out Wrigley and have millions of fans nationwide, but really have been a terrible franchise for years. Popularity=$, that's the only thing that matters to NBC.

I think EWU would have scored more against NDSU because they can actually pass the ball effectively but their defense gave up points in bunches and NDSU would have scored a ton on them too...result would have been the same but the overall score would have been higher on both ends. The GSU/NDSU game was one of the best in the tourney, if GSU would have had a kicker it could have went the other way.

Even my Notre Dame friends knew this was going to happen, they were undefeated but they were less than impressive often, beating Purdue, BYU, and Pitt by 3 points each at home isn't exactly bragging material.

I think most people would agree with that, though I don't know if we'll live long enough to see it structured correctly...their new plan for 2014 is a joke, until they go to a legit minimum 8 team playoff for the true championship I will consider the FBS flawed.

This makes me laugh, so much better than last year when we were rolling out guys in wheelchairs trying to fill lines and this year we're wondering which decent player is going to have to sit. Much better.

If they don't offer a smoking deal for basically half a season they are crazy, it should be around 1/3 the price of a full season...but nothing would surprise me.

Wright seemed to have good chemistry with Ponder, maybe when they get Harvin back he will be able to produce and keep teams from double-teaming Harvin all the time. The other thing they need to work on is pass-blocking, they freely admit they steer towards run-blocking on draft day but my god Ponder never has more than a second or two before he is on the run.

I agree, it's probably pretty rare for any sport to make money but I would guess UND hockey must be in the black, and FU football should be fairly close.
