  1. doesn't matter if they win in 4,5,6 or 7. Rangers won't win four games.
  2. I disagree, there is more intrigue witht he NBA Finals as either team has a legit shot at winning. can't say the same about the SCF.
  3. let the start of the Kings dynasty begin. two in three trumps two in four. Rangers have zero shot at beating LA. Go Rangers though.
  4. the Blackhawks just seem to get better as a series goes on. Over the last two years they are unbeaten in games 5-7 and going back to 2010 they are 21-3 versus 25-23 in games 1-4. we'll see if the trend continues tomorrow.
  5. one of the analysts after the game last night said this was the greatest series he has ever seen. I wouldn't go that far. games 2, 3 and 4 weren't that great. 5 and 6 were by end to end play, but that has been it. I thought the Hawks/Blues series was better, I mean four of the six went to OT(one 3OT), goals scored late to send them OT.
  6. according to Goon it's over as well tonight, although he said it was going to end and there will be handshakes on Wed. night. Go Rangers???
  7. off topic, but at what point will some penalties be allowed to be reviewed. last night a Canadians player get high sticked in the face and pushed into Lundqvist and gets called for goalie interference. officiating has been brutal in these playoffs. NHL has to be licking its chops over LA/NY final, look for Kings to get majority of calls tonight not that they will need them though. Doughty has said they need game 6 tonight and don't want to give Chicago any more life and will come out storming. 5-0 Kings after one tonight, 7-2 after 2 and 10-3 final while going 8 for 12 on the PP.
  8. so does that mean LA plays with added pressure?
  9. Rangers win and pack their sun tanning clothes for what most likely looks like a trip to LA.
  10. now who's copying who?
  11. all teams do it, it has become an epidemic. one way to solve it is institute an automatic 5 min major and game dq and if it is done in the last five min of a game or OT it becomes the next game. and have officials with enough balls to call it.
  12. well they both have been problems this series.
  13. his problem is everytime he enters the zone he goes wide to the left gets checked into the wall by a defenseman, loses the puck and possession over. he looks comepletely lost out there. Hossa hasn't scored many goals but at least he has been active both with and without the puck.
  14. Agree with everything but that last part, maybe a hat trick of hits though. I don't see Chicago winning in LA, as they gave them everything they had and it still took 2OT's to beat them at home. I will say this, if Chicago somehow finds a way to win Fri, good chance they give LA a dose of their own medicine in game 7.
  15. yep. Pacers ended up being a complete joke the last three months. hopefully the Spurs or Thunder can knock off the Heat.
  16. not tonight, the pride of a champion prevails tonight. Friday is when it will end.
  17. I agree about the "retirement". however, Jordan had been back for what a month. with a full seasoned Jordan the Magic don't beat the Bulls. as evident the following season when the Bulls swept them.
  18. I still thank that if Jordan wouldn't have retired the first time it would have been an eight-peat instead of two three-peats and in some book somewhere in the world the Rockets two titles have an asterick beside them. I'm glad the Rockets did win those two though because I disliked the Knicks and Magic.
  19. I did and it was good stuff. all hatred aside, they were a very damn good basketball team.
  20. up until 2010 they were a thorn in the side of the Blackhawks. Being a Bulls fan it is why I still hate the Pistons, despite the Bad Boys being gone for almost 20 years. But those three years prior to 1991 I hated them more than any other franchise in sports.
  21. gloating over the Bruins beating the Red Wings that's likeUND gloating over beating Tech.
  22. tell that to my 5 year old who cried his eyes out after they lost last night. oh wait that was me
  23. I'm betting he is still pretty upset about the last 1:15 of game 6 of the Cup Finals last year.
  24. Shaw is to busy grabbing Jeff Carter's stick to do that.
  25. how can a defending champ be that mentally fragile. from the moment that first goal went in for the kings in game 2 they have cracked and then from there the moment something goes bad they collapse. my God they are turning into the Penguins.
