UND is becoming a graveyard where offensively talented players come to die in the cycle system. Just look at the offensive numbers decline over hak's tenure and I don't want to hear about the clutching and grabbing crap that toews, parise and oshie had to put up with. Bochenski did as well and he still put up numbers. If the stud on the team is being clutched and grabbed that will lead to another player being open and benefitting and we have no players that are putting the puck in the net

I saw in the paper that it had been 46 years since the Bison lost to the jacks in fargo as well. it had been 4 years since we lost to duluth in duluth as well, we just lost to the seawolves for only what the third time in gf a week ago. I go by what we are doing on the ice and offensively we are doing nothing. and defensively it looks like cornell is doing a lot. it would be nice if we could sweep them to give our RPI a boost as every week it seems to go down further and further.

well it sure as hell isn't us.

I hate all this "they're really close crap" that is being spread around because this team really isn't if they said it with their minds and not their heart. they are not even remotely close to putting it together. I thought the same thing two weeks ago after the cc series and was really looking forward to us going on a streak before the holidays. however last weekend and this weekend have grounded me and as hard as it is for me to say this the sioux will not be playing at the end of march or in april this year. we just don't have the horses to do it. I'll bet you a beer Goon that we aren't any closer to .500 at the break than we are right now.

Cornell is a pretty decent team that doesn't really allow you to score. anyone who thinks the Sioux are going to roll this next weekend just because we are playing "Cornell" who may not be as "talented" as us will be sadly mistaken and probably even more upset. If we had troubles scoring this weekend multiply that by 10 next weekend and don't be surprised if our total goal total for the entire weekend is at 2 or below.

maybe the goal should have counted, maybe it shouldn't have. are the refs bad-probably yes. but we demand perfection out of the refs yet we don't always demand it out of our players and coaches-give the refs some kind of break. we should have won this game in OT if Watkins buries that shot he had in front of Stalock-but he didn't. there were numerous other chances we had to win this game but did not. offensively this team is not clicking and for that reason shouldn't have to count on being bailed out by a call with 90 seconds left. we had a five minute major pp with 10 minutes left and we blew that opportunity by taking what 2 penalites matro even before it started and lapoint during it. we had our opportunities but didn't cash in. until we start cashing in we can't leave the outcome of a game to be determined by a refs call or no call.
