wonder if they would play them at the Ralph and consider them aa homes games and give aa the gate receipts?
-
I saw on the Dish programming guide that the DU/Duluth game will be on the nhl network friday night.
-
yes, and it is so much fun to speculate this time of the year, especially during a frickin bye week.
-
beings this will be our first week in USCHO's bracketology. here's my thoughts: west regional in minneapolis Cornell vs UMD Northeastern vs Minnesota(host) Midwest Regional in Grand Rapids Notre Dame vs RIT Michigan vs. Princeton East-Bridgeport BU-Bemidji State Denver vs. yale(host) Northeast-Manchester Vermont vs UND miami vs new hampshire(host)
-
maybe I was dreaming but I thought I saw on one of threads here awhile back that UND or someone was looking into to doing a charter for the AA series, what ever happened to that? like I said maybe I was dreaming.

we are only like .0016 ahead of them and a win over mass would move there rpi at least that much. plus ours would dip a little with umass losing.
-
this weekend will be a very interesting weekend for us in the pwr and we don't even play. I know Jim had this in his blog but games of interest for us are: du/umd- a denver sweep helps us in the pwr but but duluth wins will help us in the wcha race. notre dame/ohio state- a notre dame sweep will flip our comparison with osu which we are now losing. bc/umass-a umass win keeps this comparison in our win column, however a bc win flips it to bc yale vs harvard/dartmouth-2 yale losses would flip this comparison princeton vs colgate/cornell-as soon as we catch princeton in rpi in all liklihood we flip this comparison. that being said a cornell win helps us in two ways(rpi and cop). minnesota/wisconsin-root for a split as this helps us in both the pwr and wcha race. maine/nh-a maine sweep would probably flip the nh comparison.

6-1 northeastern over BC, looks like we move up to number 14 in the pairwise.

they aren't and it is a legit discussuion but you could probably go to at least 3 or 4 different threads over the last two weeks and find the same discussion. and this discussion is like the old saying beating a dead horse. -

I'm going to predict that by the time next friday rolls around this thread will be at least 20 pages long with people bitching and moaning about shep and mcclueless. -

Goon, you shouldn't get so worked up over something you know probably isn't going to happen in the first place. on a side note, didn't Gerbe get suspended last year by York or Hockey East for something that happened during a game? -
I'm not that hip on UMass beating BC as they couldn't beat Maine yesterday. problem for us is in all liklihod the COP with BC will end up being tied at thend of the year as they will proabably beat UMass, lose to BU and we'll split with Wisc. If we're going to flip this comparison it needs to be with the RPI.
-
I'd love to see 8 ties this weekend.
-
I believe scsu is supposed to go to anchorage this weekend and we are in two weeks. how would the wcha handle mt redoubt blowing its top in that timespan? would they still send scsu and us up there?
-
depends on who we get as officials this weekend. I heard Papa Shepherd was thinking of officiating the Sioux-Bye series this weekend.
-
now the dilema(sp) next week. root for umd for the wcha title implications or root for du for pairwise implications.
-
however, if we win tonight and osu loses we flip that comparison and in all liklihood move ahead of them.
-
they've been ahead of us for several weeks.
-
let's hope focus=jump and pinpoint accuracy that's not in the middle of weslosky's chest.
-
I'm very concerned about tonights game. you know scsu will come out flying, but will we? our energy level on the road s pathetic. f that doesn't change and change soon our post season dreams will evaporate very quickly as including tonight we have 5 road games left and 4 home games and none of them are"gimmies". we can get 40 shots on goal but if there all at his chest what difference does it make? first goal will be huge tonight. if we get it lok for good things, if they get I have a feeling we could see a reverse of that sat night game up here against them.
-
the old saying we used have of "it's to our advantage to play on the bigger sheet" can now be thrown out the window.
-
I thought DU gave that not the league.
-
that'll just be a waste of time as the league doesn't care about the product on the ice or the safety of its' players. all they care about is creating parity.
