the one thing that scares me about this game is Jeff Lerg. this spartan squad is a wounded animal and we better come out ready to play or we'll be playing the early game tomorrow. that being said Sioux win 4-2.
game didn't matter, glad we won and we actually looked pretty decent for probably not having that much of an inntensity level. it looked very business like and most importantly I think we came out of it injury free.
was it just me or did it look like vv skate could have been in the crease on hextall's goal? it looks like he hovers around in the crease a lot and we've already had one goal taken away this season so far.
this was a great sweep hopefully these past two weekends can really get rolling into the second half. BE wasn't his usual shapness tonight. couple of points on that:
1. he was left hung out to dry a couple of times that resulted in goals
2. he did come up big late int he game when the huskies had 2 pp's and didn't score
3. he is still a freshman and will have nights like this. it was nice in that he had a night like this when we put 7 goals onthe board. 2 months ago we probably lose this game.
I've said this before I think he nees to see an eye doctor as he is missing some very wide open nets , I think at least a half a dozen so far this year. which is very unlike him.
I thought I saw on here after sat's game that someone said TH said that finley had been skating with the team and could be back for the gli or bsu series? I could be wrong.
I don't know about every weekend but just have a different video for fri and sat nights so that people who attend both games don't have to watch the same thing each night.
I never said "holiday cupcake tournament" either. new hampshire was here last year for a non tournament, maine has been here. how about trying to get michigan, miami or notre dame to come here on a home and home?
who are the frickin genius' that did our scheduling this year as we'll end up with 17 home games and 21 games on the road or "neutral sites". I'm going to go out on a limb and say that we're the only program that will play more games away than at home.
