I know they have talked about doing a midget team but that was a few years ago, so I don't know where it stands now. There is enough ice in town for them to find a place to practice and possible play, it doesnt have to be just at the REA.

The Hockey Academy is a development camp for aspiring players, it is run by former hockey/und players. There has been talk about developing a top end midget team in Grand Forks but that was a few years ago.

Just got home from the game and all I can say is, WHAT CRAPPY OFFICATING! The call on Mac and a lot of none holding calls were obvious but the thing that was really embarrassing was the way they never had control of the game.

Having the WCHA tourny in St. Paul will not be an option after the bigger teams leave. It will be moved to a different site and I am pretty sure Grand Rapids, Milwaukee and Green Bay are all being looked at. My guess is Milwaukee will be the new host city, as the Admirals play there and they have hosted a successful Frozen Four in the past.
