They might not have won one recently but they have been pretty darn consistent. You're also going to say that Denver isn't consistent? they've won 4 titles in the past 20 years (and have the potential to add a 5th).

Michigan may not have won an NCAA title but they have been pretty damn consistent since winning theirs.

not with the amount of money that coaches are being paid. UND isn't paying Berry to just have a "winning season" and produce Olympic Athletes and NHL players.

While on paper it seems all that should be achievable perpetually, reality doesn't work like paper. That's what makes sports fun - play the game and see what happens. Historically, stack UND up against literally any other college hockey program, no matter which metric you pick, UND will likely be better.
Michigan, Denver are two programs that are better than us.

I would agree with you on the media. Brad and company never push the buttons like they should, its just status quo all the time. When Tim, Jake or Alex start criticizing (just a little bit) the "real fans" lose their mind.
What I do not agree with you is in the shape of the program. Last few years we have been relying on transfer players and we have not had a legit goalie to help us and it doesn't look like we will for a little bit either.-

Alaska is currently 15th in the PW and with them being an independent team, it's highly unlikely they make the tournament, especially with a few upsets going on.
A good way to not worry about the PW is to just win your games and leave no doubt.-

Wouldn't know because it didn't happen. What we do know is he hasn't done anything in the National Tournament since 2016 and thats all we can go off of.

I'm not seeing the parallel.
Berry may or may not be the right guy to lead UND hockey, but the anti-Berry crowd will need to do better than comparing him to Tony Granato.
Never was comparing him to Berry. As a matter of fact, I've never been one to say that Berry should be released.

Don’t need to over hear anyone at the Ralph to figure out he’s gone. If you (not saying you directly) have any hockey knowledge you’d understand that his style of play is no longer welcome in the college ranks.

Are we looking for one great goalie and mediocre ones to fill out the rest of the roster? Are our goalies just not fighting each other in practice? I remember the days of lammy/ parise, dell/ eidsness, Saunders/McIntyre, McIntyre/ johnson. Hell I remember when Brandt went ballistic on blais when he tried sitting him for a game (I think it was Duluth). I just feel like our current goalies are like those guys.

To me this is just a stunning turn of events - Third year in a row which doesn't make this a one time problem but a long term problem. I don't know what's going on with recruiting but this should have been addressed long ago. Staff needs to get it together.
You are correct. We used to have some of the best goalies in the nation and at times they were here together. How did we drop off so fast?

I must have missed that claim but I don't follow it too much as that group is terrible...I'm all for being positive but when s&*T isn't going correctly its okay to call them out and god forbid you do it in that group.

Staying on as an advisor entails that there isn't a riot for firing a god that came from the program. Obviously Brad has more slack than Whalen but getting rid of a "family member" can be done when the program isn't up to par.

Stop moving the goal post to fit whatever you want it to fit. If we are talking recently, then I'd say Denver and Duluth but HISTORICALLY (like you stated) Michigan and Denver are slightly above us.
