No, it looks like, but I don't comprehend reading well , he doesn't have the answers. Maybe he's hoping that we'd all try and answer some basic questions about a potential firing before we do so? That's where I am on this subject. Not happy with this season. I'm not one that's in heavy worry mode as I still believe our staff is very good and I love the pipeline and several key players, but another season like this, I'd be worried.
Everyone can speculate what will/should happen but at the end of the day Berry has to answer to the AD.
I myself am concerned with the way the program is heading. I am not sure if Berry has lost a step in recruiting or if it's his assistants who are crappy at recruiting but something in that department needs to change. When I hear stories about players not hanging out with each other and what not, it concerns me because it reflects with their play on the ice (they don't play well together). It's like what Herb Brooks said, "I'm not looking for the best players, I am looking for the right players" and I question if they are getting the right ones. Also, how many seasons are we going to give Berry before people really get worried? I understand winning a league title is good but not making the NCAA tournament multiple times is a big deal.- 1

No kidding. Everyone on this site has answers to every perceived problem with the program. It's comical to read this stuff.
So you're okay with the way the program is heading?

Berry has a good relationship with Kris (kisses the ground she walks on) and we all know she runs the hockey program. Berry is safe...

Don’t take this constructive criticism the wrong way, but, you guys suck at running things.
Let's be honest, they don't run anything. He just talks to talk.

Whatever I’m done defending this. A guy has passed away and you guys are more concerned about my sources.
what a chess pool
Understandable that you might be hurting but don't lash out to people who are curious. Also, if you are not intending to explain what happened, its probably wise to not post it on social media.

It doesn’t matter. May he RIP
No need to be a dick about it. It is a legit question that is asked 9/10 when someone passes.

I've been thinking about this recently, is it time to get new home and away jerseys next year? It's been pretty much the same since 2012, minus the minor tweaks they did in 19 or 20. I feel like there's more they could do with the jerseys. They're still one of the best, but why not make it even better?
A jersey redesign is the last thing this team needs to think about right now...

We are focused on memorial village currently
With the hockey team tanking big time, don't you think it would be more important to get them back on track? Where is their priorities?

Maybe UNDs first straight money NIL should be for a goaltender? Say 100k to play (some percentage of games or minutes) with bonuses for save percentage?
Can't do that. Basically, we need a business like Rydell's to pay a goaltender some money (and I believe that amount can be whatever Rydell's deems fit) for being a spokesperson.

You are correct about draft picks - however it would matter if we lose many of our good young recruits so we can continue playing like we have been in this cluster of a season.
That is a better way of putting it, "good young recruits".

This team has a realistic possibility of losing multiple NHL draft picks to the transfer portal.
Why does it matter that we lose NHL draft picks? A lot of players are drafted and don’t even sniff the NHL. We‘ve players come here and no be drafted and later on they parlay that into a pretty good NHL career (Rowney, caggiula, stecher, smith, Blake).

I’ve been saying it all year, this team is awful. Idk if it’s coaching or the players but they can’t seem to put anything together.

This is a fun idea. Anyone else think UND should try this next year before Christmas?
Nope....stay away from that idea...

Ugly win is better than a pretty loss
You're missing the point. The point is that UND cannot come out and play like they did against Lindenwood and expect to win conference games.

Take a chill pill bud. Of course 16 doesn’t do us any good right now but it’s a hell of a lot better than being in the 20’s where they had been for quite some time. If they can somehow win 3 of the next 4 then they are truly back in it
The next three series are with conference foes, you really think this team can come out flat like they did against Lindenwood and still pull out a win? I am glad they won and got the sweep, but they were ugly wins.

Was only able to watch the first period, for a first year team they are no joke. Coming out flat is the story of our year though. The lack of urgency is puzzling; we are on the outside looking in with very little margin for error.
Exactly, everyone seems to be happy because we are 16th in the pairwise. Well guess what, 16th doesn’t do us any good. This team needs to play like every single game is an elimination game.

Hahahahaha. I've enjoyed the thread these two games. Meltdown for roughly 4 pages, then when UND came back, the biggest meltdowners... crickets.
Morale of this weekend on siouxsports.com... wait until the game is over haha.
I’m glad you enjoyed it but the fact remains, this team isn’t good. im glade they got the sweep but it shouldn’t have been as close as it was. This team plays sloppy and great teams are going to expose it.

I really like Dean Barsness’ comments. He is a straight shooter. An incredible rarity amongst media members associated with UND.
You won’t get Brad Schlossman to be a straight shooter…

No he doesn’t, he treats them like children.

You are 100% correct that this program really took off when Hak took the reins. People also forget those early/mid 90's times at the old Ralph when the team was so terrible that you couldn't give away a ticket.
