  1. Exactly! Adidas is getting out of the NHL deal because it costs them a lot of money with very little in return.
  2. Adidas never actually produced jerseys anyway, they just slapped their logo on it (which is a very common practice in the hockey jersey industry). I believe the actual manufacturer of the Adidas jerseys was SP, which in turn will create the new Fanatics jersey at their factory in Canada. A lot of jersey collectors want the jerseys that are made in Canada as they are the official on-ice ones. Jerseys made in Indonesia or elsewhere are just the cheaply made (fabric is terrible) ones that most fans buy off the rack. The made in Canada ones are rarely sold to the general public as one needs to have a huge order/demand for them, UND is fortunate to have that demand though.
  3. Adidas is just getting out of supplying jerseys for the NHL, they still could supply to other leagues that uses them. Fanatics will be using the same factory that Adidas uses in Canada to make their on-ice jerseys.
  4. Johnson and possibly Hedquist now...we will be back in the portal pool
  5. Got an authentic size 56 green North Dakota but not sure I’m wanna get rid of it.
  6. Again, you are moving the goalpost to fit your narrative. You asked how many of those numbers were done before UND had a program going and the answer is zero. Now you move the goal post to say how many were won before UND won their title? There was never any mention about time frames, the original question was all about both program's overall history.
  7. Michigan won their first title in '48, UND was varsity program in '46.
  8. Now we are getting somewhere. When you originally stated your question, you had no boundaries or anything, you just asked historically which program has been better. I did say they were consistent since winning one in 1998 but I wasn't arguing that they were better than UND since then, I actually said Denver and Duluth were. If the cutoff is 1998-present, yes UND has been more than "slightly" better than Michigan. But again my response was to yours saying which programs have been Historically better.
  9. 100% agree. What irritates me is the "fans" who say "its just a game" or "they are just kids". No, its not just a game and they are not just kids. Fan's (like us) pay a lot of money to support this program and when it isn't living up to the standards set forth before them, we will call it out. It is even more frustrating when the media doesn't hold the leaders to the same standards.
  10. You're cherry picking again. NCAA tournament appearances: UND 34 MICH 40 Frozen Four: UND 22 MICH 26 NCAA Championships: UND 8 MICH 9 Overall Michigan has been better.
  11. being 18-17-2 and losing in the NCHC first round in 18-19 doesn't really "scream" winning season.
  12. Here is your quote "Historically, stack UND up against literally any other college hockey program, no matter which metric you pick, UND will likely be better". Stop moving the goal post to fit whatever you want it to fit. If we are talking recently, then I'd say Denver and Duluth but HISTORICALLY (like you stated) Michigan and Denver are slightly above us.
  13. They might not have won one recently but they have been pretty darn consistent. You're also going to say that Denver isn't consistent? they've won 4 titles in the past 20 years (and have the potential to add a 5th).
  14. Michigan may not have won an NCAA title but they have been pretty damn consistent since winning theirs.
  15. not with the amount of money that coaches are being paid. UND isn't paying Berry to just have a "winning season" and produce Olympic Athletes and NHL players.
  16. Michigan, Denver are two programs that are better than us.
  17. I would agree with you on the media. Brad and company never push the buttons like they should, its just status quo all the time. When Tim, Jake or Alex start criticizing (just a little bit) the "real fans" lose their mind. What I do not agree with you is in the shape of the program. Last few years we have been relying on transfer players and we have not had a legit goalie to help us and it doesn't look like we will for a little bit either.
  18. we are 10-10-4 in conference play, let not get too excited with having a "winning season". You think blue chip programs in other sports are happy with having just a "winning season"
  19. Thanks...Brad's tweet was pretty vague...
  20. Is that current or in the history of the program? Michigan has 25 consecutive winning seasons.
  21. I DO NOT believe it was just a coincidence that the person who trademarked the name "nodak" was his daughter. I would think Brad had more knowledge than most people believe.
  22. Alaska is currently 15th in the PW and with them being an independent team, it's highly unlikely they make the tournament, especially with a few upsets going on. A good way to not worry about the PW is to just win your games and leave no doubt.
  23. Because all the NCHC members wanted a national TV deal.
