Why? They’ve lost bigger games in those jerseys too.
-
I would assume negotiations fell through and CCM couldn't or wouldn't fulfill UND's demands. Overall, I was hoping for a total revamp of the jerseys when the old contract was up but that must wait.
-
Looks like some pictures that were posted that they have stayed with Adidas.

I'm not surprised and honestly the stupidity of any pro league denying CTE deserves any lawsuits they get. There is no point in denying CTE any longer, just accept it and help these athletes later in life.
-
when did 10 teams become a dozen?
-
No, my point is it doesn't matter where you play, scouts will find you.
-
I'm sure not but its the point I am making.
-
I forgot Travis Hamonic...
-
It doesn't matter how low level the league is, if you are talented and hungry enough they will find you.

Zajac played for the St. Johns Canadians in 01-02 before heading to the BCHL
-
Travis Zajac and Zach Whitecloud have had a pretty successful NHL career

The coach isn't the problem. Whoever put together that trash team should be fired along with any players that complained.

what are you talking about?

I thought it was his back is his determining factor

you should probably unfollow that group too. its nothing more than a cesspool of uneducated fans asking the same two questions every week and also pretending they are best friends with "mama gaber"

I doubt adidas is going to be the jersey supplier for und. New Balance doesn’t make the jerseys, they just put their logo on it (sp makes them). CCM wouldn’t be so bad but I’d imagine that the company who wins it will want all sports or nothing, as I can’t see them letting the biggest sport on campus go with someone else. I hope to god under armour doesn’t win.
-
Yes the school wide contract is over after this school year. I am assuming that the school has been in talks to outfit all our programs. I hope they go with Nike as they are one of the only ones that could outfit our whole athletic department, however they could go with Under Armour but I hope not.

Why would you be shocked? His raise will probably only go up to $400,000 a year (give or take a few) but in the NHL his salary would most definitely be in the seven figures. The ultimate goal for anyone involved with college hockey is to get to the show and at his age right now, he is in prime position to jump to the NHL.

No need to wonder because we couldn't get past Michigan. Plus, you're assuming that we would've beat Michigan State too.

2024-25 University of North Dakota Hockey Season

I don't believe he had as much leverage as you'd think. Remember, he is a 4th round pick and is on the smaller side (who gets knocked off the puck often) of NHL players. Sure, he could've came back and tried again but what if he would've had a down year or got injured? You think Carolina is going to sign him to a lot? Sure he would've been able to wait them out and let is rights expire so he could sign a FA deal but then he runs the risk of getting even less money. -

How do you think he was lowballed? He held all the cards but his cards are not exactly strong enough. He is a 4th round pick who had a banner year, if he comes back and struggles then he either takes a lower offer from them and no guarantee that he sees the NHL right away or lets his draft rights expire and become a FA and get even a lower amount with no guarantees. At least with this deal, he burns a year and hopefully gets NHL playing time. -

If the alums you know (on this board and around the Midwest) are offended with criticism of the program, then they probably really don't care about the program. The ones who criticize the program are fully invested and want the program to succeed and what is a good measurement of success? winning post season games and championships. I would like to think that most fans understand we are not going to win a Natty every year but winning post season games should be the expectation and the program has not done that. For a program like ours, we shouldn't have only ONE victory in the post season (against AIC) since 2016. Currently we are the "lousiest of the best and the best of the lousiest" and that just does not cut it at a program like UND's. -
Bubbs still said that there are still very high expectations that need to be met when you come to UND. So he knows (and so do the players) that if they fail to meet expectations, they will get railed on and rightfully so.

maybe but whoever Miami is going to hire will have to show that coach that they are committed to winning.
