	Friday? Saturday? Or both?

I'm mulling it over...who else is planning on being in Bloomington?
 -
Doing good, AZSioux. Been busy with work and my now four year old, but have been out to watch a couple of games at Joe Senser's and the St Cloud series. The WCHA Final Five isn't that far off either.

UND started wearing the NORTH DAKOTA jerseys in the 1993 season after the new owners of the Chicago Blackhawks decided to charge UND for using the logo. I believe that style of jersey was worn until the 1996 season when the geometric Indian head was used. The 1997 and 2000 title teams both wore the geometric version (as did the 2001 runner-up team).

Duluth is two hours north of Minneapolis/St Paul. Houghton is about 3-4 more hours and a time zone change north and east of that. Throw in about 15 feet of snow (ok, a slight embellishment) and it's not exactly an easy drive in the winter. That being said, it is a great road trip. Sorry, ftnsiouxhockey, as much as I want to...

Carthage College and Midwestern State capitulate

I was aware of that, too. Maybe it's just me, but does that remind anyone else of Stalin's Soviet Union or Mao's cultural revolution in China? -
Sorry, unless you're planning on driving thru Minneapolis en route to Houghton, I'm still a no-go.
 -
That is a shame, YaneA. I had a great time in Houghton last year.

The issue of Carthage College is particularly humorous. Sports Illustrated even pointed this out in their NCAA basketball issue a few weeks ago under the "This Week's Sign of the Apocalypse" heading. Carthage College has changed their name from the Redmen to the Red Men (I am kidding you not) to disassociate itself from Native American imagery. -
Hi YaneA...I'll maybe give Al a call and see if he can let me know if he has extra tickets after he books things. It would be fun to introduce my almost 4 year old to some of the fans I met in Columbus. Plus, I have a new handcuff keychain for ya!
 -
How much for tickets and hotel only? I'm tempted, but unless Al is heading to Duluth from Grand Forks via way of Minneapolis, I probably would just drive up myself.
 -
I had many business classes with Dave Hakstol (and Jason Herter, for that matter). Along the same lines, PCM went to kindergarten with with Fido Purpur!
 -
I'll keep that in mind! Thanks for the 4-1-1. It's always fun to meet and greet Sioux fans.
 -
There's a good chance I'll be at Senser's on Friday, Yttrium. Let me know if you want to meet up.
 -
Sorry, I'm not a skater. But if you ever organize a broomball event...
 -
I borrowed a set of my green Pizza Factory broomball jerseys last year to BigChief. I know it's short notice, but if you needed them for tonite...

Long time listener...first time poster... They play December 2nd and 3rd this year and I'm pondering going for the second year in a row. Last year, they played over Thanksiving break. No snow on the way up (unheard of at that time of the year), then they got about 2 feet on Saturday night. At least my SUV got some experience in the snow. A great hockey trip!
 -
Don't stop there, DAR, be sure to make the trip to Houghton if you haven't had a chance to. They have friendly fans there at Michigan Tech and it's fun listening to the students spell out "technological" after the Huskies score a goal.

UND vs. Wisconsin Games @ Joe Sensor's In Bloomington This Weekend
MafiaMan replied to Yttrium's topic in Men's Hockey
So you're proud to be associated with the two dimwits seated near me who cheered out loud at the goal that made it Gophers 1 and Huskies 0 on Friday night...when two TVs over from the one these knuckleheads were staring at was the real-time version, not the tape-delay version? -
	Duly noted.
 -
	Bloomington, Minnesota!
 -
Even more classic, Dagies, was the fact that two Gopher fans behind me who arrived at about 9:00 pm were busy watching the tape-delay version. Shortly after the Gophers went up 1-0, they realized that the team was actually losing 3-2 on the LIVE version. Watching the Sioux at Joe Senser's: No Charge Mac & Cheese for the lil Sioux fan and chicken fingers for dad: $15 Seeing two Gopher fans cheer when their team scores in what they think is a 1-0 game, then realize that their team is actually losing 3-2 with about 20 seconds left and that they've been watching the tape-delay version for about 10 minutes: PRICELESS
