  1. Back on topic, does anyone else feel like Arizona State in the NCHC is a temporary situation at best?  How embarrassing would it have been to see ASU join the B1G and immediately leave the hockey conference?  I’d say it’s a legit concern, no?

  2. Not jerseys, but some Fighting Sioux goodies for sale:

    Fleece 5-logo face shields (12):  $15

    Regular 5-logo face shields (7):  $10

    Keychains (200):  $5

    DM please.  Thank you.

St. Thomas is probably a better financial fit in the long term.  I would be more than OK with adding Mankato if they would kick out St. Cloud.  Not a fan of the schools admin and their hostile attitude to the Fighting Sioux nickname.

“Hey, St Cloud, we’re asking you to leave the conference because you didn’t like our nickname from 10+ years ago…”

Sorry, if we’re kicking out schools based on their politics, we’d better get rid of CC and Denver too while we’re at it, and probably Duluth too.

Hasn’t Mankato been better (Pairwise) than UND the past couple years?

To be fair, 16-20 other teams have been better than UND in the Pairwise over the past 3-5 seasons.

701 on front of greens too

That green shell looks a million times better when accompanied by a white face mask as opposed to black.

The 701 on the bumper?  Chef’s kiss.

My problem with Faber bawling is: why was he on the ice. He wasn’t out in OT, 2 and 4 were. He came out to cry for the cameras when it’s QU’s time for the spotlight.

Have our guys shown emotion after a loss? Yes, from the bench not the ice. Get your composure, come out, congratulate, skate off.

Basically 3:00 away from winning a national championship only to see it dissipate onto a vapor cloud 10 seconds into OT?  Sorry, Sic, these kids were devastated — even later on in the locker room interviews.  I don’t blame Faber ar all for his actions,  This was a gut punch.

I don’t think he was crying for the cameras.  That’s a gut-punch loss if ever there was one.

Long way to go in this one.  But...if a QU/UMN title game happens, UND would have beaten* both title game teams.
That's crazy from such an inconsistent UND team this year.  Shows that they had potential to beat anyone, but they also had potential to lose to anyone.

“Beating” someone in 3X3 OT or by “winning” the shootout is a hell of a lot different than 5X5.

Geez...getting kicked off not one, but two, college teams in four years.  Not going well for Mr. Briere.
I'd guess that no NCAA team is gonna take a chance on him anymore.

Pffft, that’s nothing!  @Godsmack has been banned from softball, hockey, pickleball, AND dart leagues in the state of Colorado.  He is currently appealing his bowling ban for allegedly throwing a 16 pound ball at a group of Catholic nuns during a recent charity event for St. Luke’s Nursing Home.

Iron sharpens Iron.  B1G making the right moves as a conference in the coaching area.  Every team now with quality guys leading their programs.  New guy at Sparty will get a ton of NTDP kids with the promise of attack mentality hockey that hasn't been a thing in East Lansing for a while.

Nightingale as a great hire for the Spartans I think he’ll turn that program around sooner rather than later.
