I don't know why it's not a done deal already! He's practically begging Maine for the job...and they're dragging their feet.
-
I was being facetious... Two months sounds like the max and that they'd like someone hired before then...really don't understand their process though.
-
...hopefully it's not a precursor to a league-wide extravaganza in 2015...GROAN.

My post was worded rather poorly. I should have said I pretty much have those same thoughts whenever I go to the Mall of America, which, although it isn't often, is often enough to be nervous.

All the cool cats signed up in October of 2001...

Yes, I love Urban's approach: "I know our coach got canned and we got caught doing all sorts of shady things...hell, this stuff has gone all the way back to Maurice Clarett reporting his car being broken into and filing a false report of that incident while making the call from Coach Tressel's own private office...but nevermind that stuff, let's use the angst of being slapped on NCAA probation to our advantage and go kick a**!"

Yea, I was cheering for Yale all weekend. That group was fun to watch...just too bad they weren't wearing green jerseys instead of navy blue. You know what's not-so-funny...is that I had those same heebie-jeebies that you did last week when I went to the Mall of America. Something about being there makes me think it's a perfect target...

Like X 100. Rumor out of Columbus is that Osiecki was fired for asking OSU's AD for an extra $50 to help fix a couple of broken helmet visors after their CCHA semi-final loss. This was shortly after Urban Meyer's request for $1 billion dollars for football stadium weight-room renovations was approved.

It still made you look though, keikla! Don't blame me...blame Blackheart.

I see the NHL is absolutely shameless in promoting only a couple of teams...they could hold a game in Fargo in the parking lot of the FargoDome and draw 40,000 people to see Winnipeg vs Minnesota...but why do that when you can have the Rangers play outdoors twice in three days?

http://www.pressherald.com/sports/maine-begins-the-search-for-a-new-hockey-coach_2013-04-17.html Maine apparently hoping to have a new hockey coach hired by the time the puck drops next fall...

It's official. The NHL outdoor games have jumped the shark.

I apologize for misinterpreting your comments and rushing to judgement on them, Sioux-cia... How was Pittsburgh?
-
Either that or Goon was out-posting you by a 200-5 count every day and you just gave up...

A little research this morning turned up the fact that Kevin Bui, #4 for QU, will turn 26 years old on Sunday. I guess there is some truth to the previously-posted Gopher fans information regarding the Bobcats...

I hate haters.

Great first post. Oh, nevermind, it's your twenty one thousand seven hundred fiftieth post. My bad. This morning sports thoughts: Heads will roll in Philadelphia after the Flyers horrible season ends. I think the Atlanta Braves are for-real with the Upton brothers playing together. They are playing well right now. I'm still not on-board with the Miami Dolphins new logo...even if we're finally back to the Mark Duper/Mark Clayton/Killer B's, Don Strock aqua blue...

Hillary Clinton was viewed as a hero for giving an answer that essentially said "who cares how it happened? It won't happen again." Now, we'll tear apart Boston to find out who did this and why. It's mind-boggling how the media views things.

I was referring to Benghazi, actually...but since that's a country 95% of Americans couldn't point out on a map if I showed them the bordering countries of Egypt, Algeria, Chad, and Sudan, it's apparently not news-worthy... As far as 'suggestions' of terrorists, the left not-so-subtly fingers 'domestic right-wingers' while pleading for 'no rush to judgement' regarding potential Islamic links?

Could 'Midnight Heather' have helped with that issue, Oxbow6?

Random thoughts for today... Few things more breathtaking than seeing a bald eagle flying high above the St Croix River bridge... I watched the season premiere of Deadliest Catch last night...yea, I'm not ashamed to admit that I'd last about 8 minutes on the Bering Sea before having to be airlifted back to safety... How come it took me until Sunday night to hear about Kobe Bryant's season-ending injury? Oh, that's right...ESPN was busy providing 24/7 coverage of Tiger's ball-drop at The Masters...

Shameless self-promotion...

Oh THAT'S witty...a bald joke!

'With all due respect, the fact is we have two dead Americans and one dead Chinese student. Whether it was because of a protest or because guys outside for a walk one night decided to go kill some people, what difference at this point does it make?' Imagine the outrage if that quote is made by an administration official this morning... Listen to you, Sioux-cia...upset at my comment (nowhere did I suggest arresting anyone of Middle Eastern descent) while ignoring the venom being spewed by MSNBS against anyone not a card-carrying member of a certain left-leaning party. A terrorist attack resulting in dead Americans only matters if the city beginning with the letter 'B' is one most US voters have heard of...
