  1. Am I the only non-fan of ND high schools and co-ops being called things like "South Prairie," "Dakota Prairie," "North Star," and "North Border," among many others? It's almost impossible to tell where these schools/co-ops are located given such generic-sounding names. At least Belfield and South Heart went with "Heart River," which actually flows past the two towns. Also, kudos to towns like Richardton and Taylor for keeping their names combined instead of being "Prairie Western" or something silly like that. End of rant. U of Mary is a good location for this girls' basketball event. Good call.
  2. 18 runs given up by the Tigers in 3 games with the Twins. Absolutely ridiculous.
  3. DWI free since 03...comes to an end this weekend. That's MY prediction.
  4. As far as where to watch the game in MSP on Saturday? You don't need to be a good ol' boy to answer that, Ricky Bobby.
  5. http://www.undalumni.org/page.aspx?pid=946 This should answer any questions...
  6. If Wes Welker was a Jacksonville Jaguar and not the favorite target of Peyton Manning, he'd be sitting another 3 weeks...
  7. And AGAIN the Tigers are making the 2014 Twins look like the 1927 Yankees!
  8. You aren't going to have any luck in DT Minneapolis. Joe Senser's in Bloomington will be showing the game.
  9. 12:13 am. You must be part of the SiouxSports.com Bison night-shift crew...
  10. He totally pushed off Bryon Russell!
  11. Jameis Winston...is this guy a total idiot or what?
  12. Actually, I'm viewed as kind of a Bison football apologist around these parts...wasn't being pissy at all...just something I noticed this morning that some Bison fans get up pretty early in the morning to see what's going on over here...
  13. The 2002 team would have been undefeated were it not for an early-season home loss to...you got it, the Iowa State Cyclones. That team wound up losing to USC in the Orange Bowl and finished with 2 losses on the season. That 2009 team was rolling along until losing to...wait for it...Northwestern...at home. The Hawkeyes followed that loss up with another loss at home the next weekend to Ohio State.
  14. WYOBISONMAN...mj23...nd1sufan... 2011BisonAlumni...JohnboyND7...bison73... it's a good thing SiouxSports.com exists so Bison fans can enjoy the internet while eating their daily breakfast.
  15. The Tigers should have had this thing wrapped up weeks ago. What was it, a 6 or 7 game lead at the All-Star break? A win last night would have been huge. Down 2-0 in the 9th with 2 outs and you get a 3-run jack to take a 3-2 lead going into the bottom half...and then Nathan blows it. Against the Twins. Not the Orioles, not the Angels. The Twins. Luckily the White Sox held on...
  16. No secret that I'm a Tigers fan...I sweat bullets every time Joe Nathan takes the mound.
  17. Talk about bungling this from the get-go...total organizational ineptitude. I wonder what new evidence came out between yesterday and this morning that led the Vikings to reverse their decision? Hint: none. I'm no fan of Keith Olbermann, but he's totally correct here: the National Free-fall League.
  18. Seriously...can Detroit trade Joe Nathan right now?
  19. Groan...no "12th man" references please...
  20. Nothing. But perhaps he can chat with the champions of Somali immigration Betty McCollum and Keith Ellison about being a little more picky about who is let into the state. Just an idea...
  21. I think the news I saw last night mis-spoke when they said "Vikings sponsor" and meant one of Adrian Peterson's endorsement deals. I couldn't find any information on a second sponsor jumping ship.
  22. Good point, he should stick to commenting about AP being suspended by a football team and attending Hockey Day in Minnesota events. You know, important stuff.
  23. Dayton's making progress - maybe next he'll issue a statement regarding the number of Somali immigrants into Minnesota who are now busy fighting for ISIS in Syria/Iraq. I won't hold my breath though...
  24. Spoiler role is possible.
  25. Yea, Detroit could very well need all of the games against Minnesota from here on out. Scherzer should be livid today...that bullpen turned a sure-win into a no-decision for him pretty quickly last night. Awfully tough to sweep a team four straight though, even if Detroit is at home at the end of the season. Angels wrapped up the west last night...the A's free-fall has been Cubs-esque.
