  1. Careful! Let's not bring Columbus into the discussion...and risk additional NCAA sanctions!
  2. Can you imagine the Sun Devils playing in downtown Phoenix at US Airways Arena? No way they fill that place.
  3. Grey Wolves?
  4. How about the Black Wolves?
  5. Would it be Sundogs, SunDogs, or Sun Dogs? My head hurts.
  6. I will still cheer for UND but you won't see me sporting a Rainbows jersey. Oxbow6, on the other hand, well, he can't wait to get rid of his Sioux stuff on Craigslist and drop $300 on a brand-new Reebok authentic Sparkling Unicorns, Glittery Rainbows, or Butterfly Kisses hockey jersey.
  7. Jake Ocken and Alex Harvey are Lakeville South products...Michael Link played at Hopkins...
  8. So Chris Webber wasn't the only cheater in the 1993 title game, eh? Watch the NCAA roll over on this one.
  9. NYET!
  10. I hear what you're sayin', geaux_sioux. It'll be a damn miracle if Bubba gets this team a 5th win on the season - one of the better FCS coaching jobs this season with a UND win this weekend.
  11. Missouri...Big XII mid-level team constantly trying to get over the Oklahoma/Texas/Nebraska hump. Texas A&M...Big XII mid-level team trying to do the exact same thing. Both teams come to the SEC and within a couple of seasons, are at the top of the conference. SEC dominance indeed.
  12. Yea, that Navy is an awful team. An awful team that beat Georgia Southern 52-19 this season. The same Georgia Southern who rolled who at the end of last season? Florida.
  13. So Vandy would "work over" Nebraska but quite possibly lose to the Huskers. Compelling argument you're making... If Northwestern is so awful, how over-rated is Notre Dame?
  14. I'm not an SEC hater and you are 100% correct. ESPN wouldn't dare risk bad-mouthing a business partner - in fact, during college football season, you could say the SEC becomes the Yankees and Red Sox of summertime to ESPN.
  15. That's not what you said at all. Your exact words were that Vandy would "work over" Nebraska. Go re-read your post. That sad-sack Nebraska team that lost to Minnesota last year also beat Georgia in the Gator Bowl - as I already pointed out in this thread earlier to scpa.
  16. They should be in the road jerseys section...
  17. Funny you should mention Georgia and Nebraska...you're simply saying that a game this season would be a reversal of last season's Gator Bowl, eh? For the record, I am an SEC fan and watch Georgia as often as I can. Now, Kentucky. Oh boy. 41-3 losers to LSU, 63-31 losers to Georgia, and 50-16 losers to Tennessee. Hangin' with the big boys!
  18. Vandy would work over Nebraska? You have lost your marbles.
  19. I didn't say that at all, but let's be reasonable here. The SEC certainly has its share of patsies and mediocre teams this season: Vanderbilt...Kentucky...South Carolina...Florida...Tennessee...Arkansas... some folks want to claim that those schools would work over Michigan State, Wisconsin, and Nebraska? C'mon.
  20. East, west, puh-tay-toe, puh-tah-toe.
  21. Then I'm surprised you're not a bigger fan of Michigan Tech, Goon. Hmnnn...now those look familiar, but I just can't put my finger on it...
  22. So why was the NCHC ignoring St Cloud State until bar-close time then?
  23. http://m.startribune.com/sports/blogs/283095481.html Just found it...
  24. No proof or link to substantiate the claim, but I had wondered myself if the B10 would be interested in ASU.
  25. More hockey history? Ummm...you do know that hockey at Notre Dame has existed for just over 100 years and it has pretty much been a D1 school since 1968, right? SCSU's been around the top level since, what, 1989? Michigan Tech had already completed a major renovation when St Cloud was promising to get one going. And don't even get me started on Western Michigan...
