What "profile" is that? Is it the same one that St Cloud State didn't meet until Notre Dame decided it didn't want in on the NCHC and then suddenly DID meet? Count me among the group of fans who want to see the WCHA survive and be relevant in the college hockey world.

Yost Ice Arena is almost 100 years old and I'd take it in the NCHC any day of the week over WMU...just because it didn't cost $100 million doesn't make it a non kick-a$$ facility. And why wouldn't Bowling Green be a good fit in the NCHC?

I saw Lake State's roadies in action against Notre Dame - disappointing, to say the least. Yellow numbers and anchor did not match the yellow trim on the jerseys. If they would have stuck with 2013's blues, a top five jersey EASILY, in my opinion...

I get that the 2014 Laker jerseys go back to what LSSU looked like in the late 1980's/early 1990's in their heyday (albeit with an apparent change in the yellow color, a smaller anchor on front, and slightly different and smaller "Lakers" wordmark, but I think what Gemini did a couple of years ago with their jerseys is actually a better look....in my humble opinion, of course (pic below)...

OK, we've gone thru the 2014 home whites. Now it's time for the road colors... No surprise here. Maine makes an appearance on the best jersey list for the roadies too. Gave this one away in an earlier thread - Alabama Huntsville. Great color scheme and the horseshoes on the shoulders top it off. Still hate those stupid scoop-tail jerseys that supposedly make you .00001 of a second quicker than a regular jersey but whatever... Yale Bulldogs. This beauty is just timeless. Love the big block YALE and numbers on the front. Whoa! A BIG surprise here with Bowling Green. The orange and brown really pops on this sweet uniform. Bonus points for not being another school replacing traditional colors with "Vegas gold" (yes, I'm talking to YOU, Western Michigan). Another repeat from the home whites - the BU Terriers. Again, a throwback alternate that has become their regular jersey. I can't stand anything Boston - and yet I'd buy this jersey in a heartbeat. There you have it, 2014's top 5 road jerseys. Your thoughts? Anything you'd subtract and replace on the list?

I don't recall the University of Minnesota ever doing that on their hockey jerseys.

I watched the BU game and while BC still has high-end talent, BU skated circles around them at times. Demko looked like a freshman out there in the 3rd period too. BU took the game over, something I did not expect at BC's nest.
