  1. Still not understanding all the hate for Bostick when Clinton-Dix had all day to bat down that 2 point conversion... Did anyone else notice the fan in the end zone wearing the #9 punter jersey on the fake field goal TD? His reaction to the play was absolutely priceless.
  2. While I love this Patriots look, it's bass-ackwards because Pat on the helmet is wearing a blue coat while Irving Fryar is wearing a red jersey. Ummm...weren't the British the redcoats? Make the Patriots jersey blue and that logo/uniform would be AWESOME!
  3. No contest! The original Seahawks logo was updated nicely in 2002 but the colors were changed. The 2002-2011 logo colors were far superior to what the Seahawks use today. Now, perfection would be the logo update with the ORIGINAL colors of the team.
  4. This could be the worst Super Bowl in recent memory in terms of uniforms - Seattle's monochrome blue helmet/blue jersey/blue pants look is among the worst unitard outfits this side of the Ravens' black/black/black look. Then there's the Flying Elvis logo of the Patriots, the blue jerseys with piping everywhere on them, and silver pants with mystery stripes as well. The red facemask completes a horrible look. Both of these teams should bust out their 1980's duds and make this Throwback Bowl I. Pat the Patriot along with red NE jerseys and the 1980's era Seahawks threads were uniform awesome-ness!
  5. Well, the Patriots do have a history of cheating going all the way back to the 1982 snow plow game against the Dolphins...
  6. 19-34 for 178 yards, 1 TD, and 2 INT's. I know Aaron Rodgers was injured, but those stats still aren't great. GB also had not one but TWO chances to get a first down late in the game that likely would have ended any Seattle chance to win. There is good news in Packer land today though...maybe folks in Wisconsin will finally stop talking about the Fail Mary game!
  7. Each team brings 12 balls to the game - kinda like little league baseball.
  8. Well maybe they're about to jump back on Seattle's bandwagon... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2916407/Did-Patriots-intentionally-deflate-footballs-Colts-championship-game-NFL-launches-probe-taking-ball-away-testing-New-England-s-45-7-victory.html And while Richard Sherman isn't the most modest guy, Bill Belichick would hand over Gisele Bundchen to ISIS if it meant him winning a football game.
  9. In fact, sprig, here was the scene outside of the Barnboard Bar & Grill in Roberts WI at around 6:00 pm last night...
  10. It did, sprig! I was out and about town 10-15 munutes after the game - people wandering around the street and inside Holiday gas station with blank stares on their faces - looked like a Packer fan zombie apocalypse. Also saw one bold teenager at church on Saturday night - proudly wearing a Seattle Seahawks shirt. I think he's ok today. Didn't see postgame talk...I figured Seattle would be a bit more humble given that one-in-a-million win. I guess not.
  11. Rock Chalk Seahawk!
  12. So let me get this straight...LeGarrette Blount wasn't good enough to play for the Tampa Bay Succaneers? Wow.
  13. LOL! Uh...no it hadn't. And the net wasn't off its moorings like the dumba$$ announcers suggested it was.
  14. And barely 5:00 into the 3rd, it's 5-3 Red Wings...
  15. So if it's not a penalty, why didn't the goal count?
  16. No, it's worse. Serious question for GB fans...what would have been the bigger heartbreaker, GB not converting a 4th down play on that last drive in the 4th quarter, the late-game field goal attempt clanking the wrong way off the goalpost, or going to OT and losing it the way it actually happened? I just can't imagine it ending any worse than it did. Seriously, I thought that the game was over when Seattle elected to punt with just under 7:00 left in the game and needing 2 TD's to win.
  17. Atta boy, Blackheart! 3-3 before the 2nd period is halfway done! Didn't you learn from bcblues? Hey, everybody, Zane has a shutout going! LOL!
  18. So, Mariucci, where were we? Oh yea, now I remember... Rau crashes into Rumpel...puck goes in net...referee waves off goal. No inadvertent whistle, no losing sight of the puck, but no goal. Hmnnnn...
  19. Fargo 9-1-1, what's your emergency? Um, hi, I need a welfare check at a residence in south Fargo...
  20. Indeed they are not. However, with UNH and Brown hosting regionals (and likely not making the tournament), BU and BC are likely to get some nice brackets should they make the field of 16. I'd like BC left at home watching - along with Minnesota.
  21. You and Uncle_Rico are correct. http://www.nfl.com/rulebook/try
  22. How about the 2 point conversion that should have been either batted down or picked off and run all the way back to the other end zone?
  23. Strike that from the record.
  24. Bostick for Baldwin?
