I recall last year UND fans poo-poo'ing NDSU's win over Iowa as the Hawkeyes being over-rated and not as good as advertised. Now we're crowning Utah national champions based on one season-opening game against an FCS opponent? That horrible Iowa team managed to defeat a pretty good Michigan squad late in the season last year.

I'm still not sure that the football team embraces the logo as they refuse to put it on one side of the helmets and opt for player number instead. The patch on the jersey seemed to have the correct shadow under the hawk's neck - the patch on Bubba's Adidas polo shirt, however, was not correct.

"The Score" app still using the interlocking ND logo. darell, can you get on the horn with them and tell them that UND is all about the hawk-in-N-D logo now?

Oh well, fun to watch the old school on TV in a fairly big-time venue. Good experience for the team and hopefully the coaches.
