100% agree. Watching Ziemer and Mooney hog first line minutes with fourth line performance at the WJT told me he was catering to his Gopher players because things were not well in the Minnesota locker room.

Say what you want about Bob Motzko as a head coach, I’m not sure I’d have the heart to continue coaching as long as he did after losing his son. I don’t like the Gophers and his decision-making at the World Junior Tournament in December/January had me scratching my head, but I wish him the best moving forward from Minnesota.

Sunday morning analysis: How nice is it to be closer to 30 wins on the season and IN the NCAA tournament vs scratching and clawing to get to 20 and missing it?
