Never understood UND fan obsession with choosing pre-parties over a hockey game you paid admission for.

I meant basketball and the Big East, not Hockey East.

Uh, actually, they won the Hockey East tournament, that’s how. Princeton and Ohio State losing had nothing to do with it.

I was there for that one too. Justin Duberman had the best game of his career that night. Side note: one of the Dynamo goalies that game was none other than Vladimir Myshkin. I don’t believe he was the starter though.

Walked into Cossetta’s wearing my USA jersey and North Dakota winter hat for dinner before the USA/Germany World Junior Tournament game…a guy holding the door open for a half dozen people ahead of me decides to bolt in front me and lets it slam in my face. I opened it up and walked inside and he turns around and says, “I won’t hold the door open for a ****in’ Sioux fan.” You guessed it, he’s wearing a UMD Bulldog jersey.

I think in this instance, you mean guys’ as in plural. Guy’s would mean one particular guy, and if that’s the case, Team NoDak is in trouble.

The second M is capitalized. Just wanted to correct that for when you update the list for 2026 and have to list me a second time. 😉

I like to think that I know a fair amount of college hockey after watching it for almost 40 years, but I’ll be darned if I could remember Merrimack’s nickname and logo before this weekend. Didn’t realize “Warriors” was still “allowed” these days…

100% agree. Watching Ziemer and Mooney hog first line minutes with fourth line performance at the WJT told me he was catering to his Gopher players because things were not well in the Minnesota locker room.

Say what you want about Bob Motzko as a head coach, I’m not sure I’d have the heart to continue coaching as long as he did after losing his son. I don’t like the Gophers and his decision-making at the World Junior Tournament in December/January had me scratching my head, but I wish him the best moving forward from Minnesota.

Sunday morning analysis: How nice is it to be closer to 30 wins on the season and IN the NCAA tournament vs scratching and clawing to get to 20 and missing it?

That first one at 2:14 isn’t acceptable either. The constant sleep-walking of NoDak teams early into periods and at the end of periods over the past 4-5 years is really something else.
