To expect NoDak to sweep St Cloud, UMD, Denver, and Western Michigan based upon the body of work we have witnessed so far this season is simply not being realistic. The black jerseys have become a farce — and to break them out again this year shows further desperation. I prefer the greens as well anyways. Put away the blacks for a while.

BC kind of slide? For as crummy as that team has been this year, Jerry York’s crew still won 20 games last season. Which program is sliding faster?

To be fair, Dean Blais’ first couple of teams missed the tournament before he won it all in 1997. Contrast that with Brad Berry, who took home a natty in his first year and now has the program sinking faster than the Titanic just three seasons later. I asked Tim Hennessy for his take on the situation and evidently, we just need Kermit’s Luck to guide our pucks again, so no worries at all.
