  1. Shut your pie hole and just pass me the d*mn puck tonight, OK, Blackheart? I’ll take care of the rest.
  2. Of course! Playing UND turns 4th line scrubs into Wayne Gretzky-like scorers and 3rd string goalies into Mike Richter clones!
  3. I was trying to go with something Ogie might be able to relate to...if he doesn’t remember Gino’s last two years, surely the Rube years won’t resonate with him.
  4. Boys, boys, boys...enough complaining. I was told that we’d rather have a few down years in exchange for a national championship once a decade. So as long as they win one in 2026, this is fine.
  5. Hi, I’m 1992-1993 and 1993-1994. Have we met?
  6. UND has scored 2 goals or less 19 times this season in 36 games played.
  7. Yep. And some folks here STILL complained about Hak “failing” to win a national title that season (2012).
  8. @Langster019 It’s time, son, it’s time.
  9. Hope you enjoy your trip! Looks like I'll have to shovel some snow before you get home.
  10. Well, to be completely honest, Mrs Oxbow6 had a spare key made for me.
  11. I wouldn't classify that as the "best chance" for an upset. There is a far greater chance of Minnesota or Penn State winning a single game this weekend vs North Dakota winning four in a row. Statistically speaking, of course.
  12. I don't count those as part of the tournament and I was projecting UND to win that Tuesday or Wednesday game anyways.
  13. B1G is one-game only the rest of the way. I'd say your best chances for upsets this weekend are in South Bend and Columbus.
  14. Thank you for being a voice of reason on this topic!
  15. I’m glad to see someone on the team hasn’t lost his “scoring” touch...maybe the players on the ice tonight can catch that bug.
  16. Not sure about everyone else, but I would have loved to tune in next Thursday to watch a sucky UND team play in the opening round of the tournament.
  17. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't North Dakota also have a chance at beating 130 RPI Omaha in this tournament? If NDSU is "lucky" to have had the opportunity to play such a poor team, what's your excuse for the Fighting Hawks blowing the exact same opportunity? Surely you can do better than "Crandall left."
  18. St Mary's beat Gonzaga last night by 13 (60-47) to advance. It was just over a month ago that the Zags beat the Gaels 94-46 in Spokane. March Madness indeed! A #1 being upset (like what happened in the Summit) happens more often than you think. And most of those #1 seeds are playing on their own court, too.
  19. I agree with your assessment that AJS' comment about North Dakota being a "complete loser" is a bit of overreaction. It wasn't that long ago that the Fighting Hawks were playing on national TV against Arizona. However, when NDSU has been to the dance now four times (2009, 2014, 2015, and now this year), North Dakota's lone appearance is easily forgotten. "Complete loser"? No. A more successful program needed? Yes.

@SJHovey Let me know if you'd like some help getting #22's signature on there.
  21. And here we go...another keyboard tough guy.
