I am hearing Andy Reid is something of a slot receiver guru... Welker is the obvious comparison but a majority of NFL teams have that Dressler type of player that can do a lot things for a team... He is certainly talented enough and I think some of his intangibles (smart football player, dedication, work ethic, team player, etc.) will set him apart. This was a calculated move with team and timing in mind.

Boom... Mr. Electricity Weston Dressler finally getting his chance in the league. Can't wait to try some KC bar b que... Congrats to him.

Expectations have and always will be post season play. Anything less is underachieving / not a great season IMO. May be slightly unrealistic for a first year coach but this must always be the goal.

On a brighter side than the usual negativity: Former UND corner Drake Otto with his new bride Terra Chorney (family of UND hockey players) will be appearing on Good Morning America tomorrow. They are performing their Dirty Dancing re enactment from their wedding dance. It got picked up by the news in Minneapolis after being on You Tube. Good luck should be fun to watch.

I feel like i'm being punked by UND on Big Sky TV. It the only game I've seen listed on the site that is not being shown. Ridiculous. I think I saw a flag football game on a Tuesday at Portland State between the art department and chess club but no UND game. Come on.

I can't wait for my football attending season to start. September 6- Hometown High School football game. September 7- UND feasts on the Jackrabbits. September 8- Saskatchewan Rough Riders and Mr. Electricity himself bring home the Banjo Bowl in Winnipeg against the Blue Bombers. Anybody else attempting this Trifecta? Or does anyone have a better action packed weekend in mind??

Obsessed with following UND basketball right now. I've usually been a casual basketball fan but am amped for the conference tournament. Good luck to the team and I can't wait to follow them into the NCAAs as Big Sky tourney champs.

Best game I've been to in the last 4 years. Amazing what a conference and something to play for elevates the excitement. Also, first game in three years where I didn't cringe at the QB play for 4 quarters. Kudos to the team and staff on their "first" Big Sky win against a very good opponent (too bad this one doesn't go in the conference standings). Great crowd for the 1st half, very loud. But, let's get out of the embarassing habit of leaving at half and sucking the air and atmosphere out of the game with you. It may have cut it during the transition, when games were usually in hand one way or the other. Almost every game will now be a tight 4 quarter contest. I am not too worried about the defense. They will come around. For the most part, they were in position to make the play and they were opportunistic with the 2 picks. We do need much more pressure on the quarterback, which was the thing I was most disappointing thing I saw out of our D line and linebackers. I will be out in San Diego and am ecstatic for our chances. Because of our stupid non counter to begin with and the tough conference games ahead, it would be huge to sneak out with a W. Overall, I am fired up for the rest of the season...
