I was thinking of 2002 also. A one loss team to a down season to getting things going to play for another title. Bubba needs to get the right people in there and get this team in the right direction. Rudolph needs to be gone. Our offense has sputtered since Muss left, and if it wasn't for our running attack and defense our team would be mimicking the Muss era.

Still time to turn it around, however a lot of work has to be done to do it.

Fire Bubba because he lost one game to South Dakota? It happens, we lose at USD more than you may think. Going on the road is more difficult than playing in front of 12,000 friendly faces. They will get past this so quit with the firing of Bubba who has basically saved this program from the depths of hell of 2013.

The MVFC is like any other conference, it's not like we played an SEC or Big 10 team. They act like their conference is the NFC North. NDSU lost to them in 2015 and still won a NC. Losing to USD isn't the nail in the coffin of your season and since they aren't in our conference we run the table, win the conference and kick ass in the playoffs. Day by day.

Funny how Bison fans are ripping us for losing to USD, with comments like we aren't ready for the Valley, and we are a horrible team. I think after this season a coaching change may be in order on the offensive side of the ball. Our defense is the talk of the FCS, teams know how tough they are but our offense sputters too much. We aren't doninent week in and week out. Our plays are too obvious, and when our team becomes one dementional, it can get ugly.

UND started conference play 1-2 last year and we made the playoffs, so let's repeat that. Take this game, and correct what went wrong and beat the living sh*t out of the Bobcats.

Maybe USD is the real thing. As for us, back to the drawing board.
