I think Bison fans feel once they reach the top they will ALWAYS be there, well they were on top in the 80's and fell in the 90's, then up during transition, then down in 2008, and 2009, now the top of the roller coaster is today.....watch out, the downfall is on the horizon, will it be next year, next few years?

It took Roger Thomas 8 years, less than a decade to overthrow the mighty Bison, I don't think decades is the correct term, after all you had a 5 year head start in all sports and one by one they are falling to UND.

I like Saul Phillips, he is a great guy in person (he was my son's baseball coach the past couple years), its to bad Bison fans are ready to dump him like a bad habit. I guess if you don't have success every year they want to dump you quickly (Bohl during the 2009 season). It was one game, still a lot of season left, plus you are already in the SL tourney (since every team besides Omaha gets in), but Bison fans hate to admit that UND has caught up to them after going through transition and has beaten NDSU now 2 out of the last 3 years. Its okay Bison fans we understand. Just enjoy your football run because when UND passes you in that, then I guess you have wrestling to fall back on since UND has passed you in at least 3 sports (well 4 with soccer).

It will also mean prices will decrease as CableOne won't have the monopoly in Fargo. I love competition.

One game at a time. In this day of rule changes (NCAA foul policy) there is no overlooking anybody, especially if you end up in foul trouble.

I think its safe to say their 5 year head start is now behind them. Volleyball, women's basketball, and now men's basketball belongs to UND, they have football and.....I guess that's it.

Maybe the hype over them being preseason favorites are going to their heads. They seem to put all their eggs on Braun instead of making it a team game, I am sure it worked with Wolters at SDSU last year and Woodside at NDSU in 09 but if the other players don't step up one player is NOT going to get it done. UND has more weapons than just Huff and they saw it the hard way.

UND is #2 in the BSC behind ISU, we would be #1 in the SL.

I think it's funny on BV with Bison fans saying they lost to a horrible UND team, this was our Super Bowl, well we beat a horrible NDSU team and if they played every game like it was their Super Bowl they wouldn't be 1-3 vs DI competition.
