Sorry your team got an ass kicking by UND and Ohio St...feel better about your team now?
-
Pretty sad? Yeah sorry we lost to 2 ranked teams and 3 others all on the road.
-
So everyone is judging Bubba because of his experience at Duluth? How about head coaching experience from Dale Lennon before taking over UND, or Roger Thomas, or Craig Bohl. You have to start somewhere.
-
Especially when SDSU beat UND on a buzzer beater in Brookings last year.
-
So did South Dakota State.
-
Muss lasted 6 years and got us 5 DI wins in one season, if Bubba or DeBoer gets us that many in the first year that will impress me. It took RT 7 years to reach the playoffs, but improved every year, patience will go a long way.
-
After last season with our defense ranking towards the bottom in almost everything, this is priority #1!!!!
-
UNC is the last game of the 2014 season, if we win more than 3 games its an improvement, if we go 3-9 or worse than we are stuck in Muss 2.0
-
I say 5. Ask this question after the Northern Colorado game and let's see how it changes.
-
That could be a huge factor, what if the coach does a Dale Lennon and bolts leaving us with Muss 2.0
-
I thought 5 but I see us losing at SUU, so 6-6 for a first year coach would be an improvement, anything more than 6 wins would be great. I will only moan and groan if UND has less than 5 wins.
-
Our passing was bad, we also had to rushing, then our defense was crap. Losing a WR or two is not going to hurt the team that is already hurting. Like you said we need an OL just to improve our offense and a DL to get sacks and TFL's which UND was ranked (106, and 111 out of 122 teams).

http://www.undsports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SPID=6399&DB_OEM_ID=13500&ATCLID=204811251 The last meeting with Stony Brook, and before anyone bashes this home and home...would you rather we call up Ferris State? Or Prairie View A&M for a one time thing? This home and home completes 2014 and 2016. UND needs 1 game to fill in 2015, 2017, and 2018. We see NDSU with scheduling problems almost every year and I hope we don't go through that. I welcome any DI home and home.

UND beat Mayville St 71-62. Next up Conference Play!!! UND at UNC on Saturday.
-
So people are pissed that it's these two for the job...why? Their record at UND is 0-0. Let's wait until the end of the 2014 season and evaluate if this team is headed towards the top or stuck in the cellar.
-
WR doesn't matter if the other pieces to the passing puzzle doesn't help like QB's accuracy on over throws and rushed passes, but the rushed passes is due to a poor OL. You need a good OL to give your QB the time to be accurate and that gives the WR time to run his route to minimize INT's. Just because a WR leaves doesn't put the whole offense in disarray, the QB is the most important position in the offense. Also without a running game doesn't help the passing game either.

Don't argue with the troll, it's not worth it.

Either contribute to this board or just stay on BV. How the mods still keep you here is beyond me.

GT is and always will be the biggest douche out there, with Lakes a close second.
-
Have fun trolling here, instead of watching the NDSU FB game.

And if NDSU repeats 2008 and 2009 with Klieman they will eat him alive (like they did Bohl). I think money isn't the point. I think UND can give a new coach a base pay of whatever the app said (I think it was 170) but make sure the coach understands there will be a lot of incentives with certain bench marks (conference title, hosting playoffs, NC, etc). Same with assistant coaches, they should have benchmark incentives as well (shutouts, no turnovers, creating turnovers, etc). Just my two cents.
