The thing about this name is it will never be as good as Fighting Sioux, but think of the names it could be, Sun Dogs, Blizzard, Mosquitos, Green and White. Then you have Cavalry with a logo (logo I think looks good). We could have a mascot, a person on a horse, unlike a certain school that has a pretend Indian on a horse with a flaming spear. I know people are questioning this because they killed Indians, and buffalo, but its part of our history like Teddy Roosevelt. Who were the Rough Riders....the 1st US volunteer Cavalry. And Rough Riders were suggested by Ron His Horse Is Thunder. Think about that one.

The Hornets finished 5-7 in 2013. In 2012 they lost to UND 35-13 in Sacramento and finished 6-5. Did the Hornets VASTLY improve from 2012 to 2013? NOPE!

I was in 4th grade at West Elementary School in Grand Forks, and I don't remember if it was at school or just after when I found out. That school year was extremely hard for me as just 4 months earlier I lost my grandpa. Watching it on the news, the explosion, was like watching the planes hit the WTC on 9/11.
