You do know UND has yet to beat Omaha since Omaha left DII, but other than that, the way we have played on the road the last two games I think we could give the Hawkeyes a scare.

I posted this on the other thread. Jones is 4-43 on the road in non-conference games not including tournament games since joining DI in 2008. FOUR WINS in 8 years. 3 out of the 4 wins came between 2014-2016. To compare Dave Richman of NDSU has 5 OOC road wins (not including tournaments) in just last season and this season combined 5-5 with Arkansas on Tuesday.

Why USD? I would think the top 3 replacements out of the Dakotas would be SDSU, NDSU, USD. Of course Omaha trumps all 3. USD hasn't really done much on the court for them to be a good replacement for WSU.

Hopefully the refs don't dictate the game like they did at UNI. Maybe we will be overlooked and can get a big win.

Thats good he is still recruiting instate talent. I didn't know if the talent pool was going dry or just picked over by NDSU.

Jones doesn't have any players from the state of ND (or from the Greater GF area). Closest player is Devon Pekas from Hawley. Its the only major sport that has no ND players.

Bubba needs a 10 year minimum extension. He did an incredible job turning a sh*tstorm of a program into hosting a playoff game in just 3 seasons, it took Roger Thomas longer than that to get UND into the playoffs after taking over in 1986.

How is the Bison winning in the playoffs good for the state of ND when we are at the same level as them...DI!! It would be different if we were DII or if we were still transitioning, but at the same level we are competing for recruiting, notoriety, and fans. The 80's were all NDSU, they won title after title, and we struggled to get to the top, then when they stopped winning titles after 1990, UND took over winning playoff games, recruiting battles (no matter what those Bison fans say), and our fanbase grew. We played for 2 national titles in the early 2000's, and Bison fans didn't say it was good for the state that UND is doing all of this. Its called a rivalry. As a UND fan, I want them to die on the field. I want any team to enter that dome and beat the living sh*t out of them. Because that is good for the University of North Dakota.

Still safer than this: Just 25 miles west of a city of 105,000.

Bison came back from a double digit deficit to beat UC Davis by 4. So when UND is up they need to close the game and not let the Bison come back. Just repeat what happened in Fargo and we get the sweep.

UC Davis is leading NDSU early in the second half, so if the Bison lose to them then they suck worse than UC Davis.
