  1. Clearly roughing…It’s anything but clear, it’s grey area, which is why you have a split of how people are seeing it. Happy Thanksgiving to you as well.
  2. Focusing on his feet, it appears he is lifted because he is trying to run away.
  3. Lol, this made me laugh. Good work.
  4. Fair enough. What is your assessment of why the flag was picked up?
  5. I’ve been trying to be objective here. Call it questionable if you want, but a cheap shot? Not even close. If I’m that corner I’m doing the same thing. You keep running, you’re gonna get hit. No question.
  6. We’ll have to agree to disagree on this one. It’s questionable, but I think if the players were reversed, you’d all be arguing the other side of this one.
  7. And if you think Maag wasn’t going to continue to run, where exactly do you say he was going here when he continues running? He didn’t run towards an official or even turn his attention to the official to hand the ball. My take is Maag didn’t think he was down either and planned to run up the field.
  8. Ok now I remember this play. Call me a homer here, but I see this as the DB not thinking Maag was down, which it appears he actually wasn’t. Maag reacted as a player who wasn’t giving himself up when he popped up, the DB interpreted him popping up as him trying to continue running and finished the tackle. I don’t see any issue here.
  9. Do you have video? I don’t remember this one specifically.
  10. Agreed, amazed they would offer him based on what I saw in his time at NDSU. Fine, serviceable player, but not a real game breaker in my view.
  11. Without inside knowledge it’s impossible to know. If you’re hope as a player is to get onto a different team, you have to be enrolled for spring semester so the timing makes sense to pull the plug now and not risk quitting halfway through the playoffs. I’m not saying it isn’t something to keep an eye on, but the timing makes sense from the players’ perspective.
  12. While it’s frustrating to see contributing players leave, it’s just a part of the game in 2022. Playing time, location, coaching staff etc. So many reasons an 18-22 year old kid would change schools, some of them valid, others are spitting the bit when the going gets tough. Every school will deal with it with the new rules in place.
  13. Calm down. You guys want to be rivals, well, I consider you guys our main rival. What’s the point in having a rivalry if there isn’t some trash talk back and forth during the game? I haven’t said anything that isn’t friendly banter and gentle jabbing. Thicken your skin.
  14. Pretty sure I read it right here.
  15. Who’s trolling. Your guy is the one calling for cheap shots…as long as no flags are thrown.
  16. While I stare at a screen watching college football? Pulling out my phone isn’t exactly a chore pal.
  17. So if a penalty isn’t called, it’s considered not classless? Would that be your stance?
  18. But that was “classless” and yet here you are calling for the same. And I’m the asshole?
  19. What? Oh my…(clutching pearls) not from a classy team like UND. You guys only recruit class acts I thought who would never do such a thing.
  20. Ndsu has run 6 different run plays for 12 years. It isn’t the scheme that’s beating UND today.
  21. This isn’t high school here fellas, the refs don’t favor one team over another. The victim language here is slightly over the top.
  22. That I agree with. I’m just referring to the difference in Bison teams from their veer years and today. The team you need to build to beat ndsu in 2022 is the type of team everyone in the nation is trying to build. It isn’t scheme specific the way those 80s team were.
  23. This isn’t the 80’s, NDSU doesn’t run an offense like the veer that you can recruit players to beat it. NDSU runs a very balanced offense these days, what does a defense and offense specifically designed to beat NDSU even look like? The offense that beats NDSU is a 4-5 wide, sling it everywhere style with a mobile QB. That is nearly impossible to recruit that many athletes on the edges at the FCS level.
  24. Bisonville is 10 guys who know each other offline who have inside jokes with each other. 15 years ago it was a decent place to have a football discussion, but hasn’t been for a long time. Throw in Lakes/el chapo and you’ve got an absolutely dumpster fire of a website.
