  1. If giving up 21 unanswered points in the 4th quarter isn't embarrassing to you then I'm not sure what to say.
  2.   Where's HayDuke when you need him. See post #1889. You honestly can't make this stuff up.
  3. I am basing my opinion on: UND having no defense last year. UND was embarrassed by the 3 of the 4 teams on it's schedule last year that were any good at all. EWU, MSU, Poly and SDSU. UND had no semblance of a running game. UND couldn't control the ball or the clock. IMO UND is poorly coached. UND only won a single game away from the Alerus Center last year. FBS games are always away games.
  4. Fine. I'll give you an opportunity to make an argument then. Outside of your game with SDSU last year, what makes you think that UND would "likely" beat CSU? Edit: And if you want to know my justification for NDSU having an opportunity to upset KSU in the fall here it is. 1) NDSU's defense is good enough to keep them in any game. 2) NDSU's is one of the most disciplined and well coached teams I have ever watched. ie they rarely give the other team extra opportunities to continue drives/have good field position. 3) KSU lost nearly it's entire defense and this will be their first game of the year. 4) KSU will have a QB who is starting his very first game against a defense that has been playing together for 3 years and knows how to make a QB sweat. 5) Winning is a culture, these guys don't really know what it means to lose. Meaning they have the confidence that goes along with that. They expect to win.(More important than anyone who hasn't played the game will ever understand)
  5. Haha, Darell, I am dismissing comparative scoring as a valid argument. Your entire post just did the exact same thing.
  6. NDSU crushed SHSU in the championship game. SHSU dismantled the best of the Big Sky. The best of the Big Sky made UND look like a D-III team. What would NDSU do to UND? Do you see how little sense this type of logic makes. If NDSU and UND played, do you think the outcome would be a reflection of what I just layed out?
  7. No what's wrong is your means to justify your opinion. Comparative scoring. If you think UND is a tough match-up for CSU then at least you have something, but to say you think UND would beat CSU completely based on you playing SDSU tough doesn't hold water at all.
  8. You continue to prove my point without realizing it Darell. Indiana State lost to SDSU last year. We beat SDSU twice. NDSU should have beaten ISU by 50 last year by using comparative scoring. Edit:Also, I don't see any NDSU fans using comparative scoring as their justification that NDSU has a good chance in the game against KSU. So not really sure why you even brought it up.
  9. Do you really want to have a comparative scoring conversation? That won't go well for you.
  10. We lost to CSU? Where was I for that?
  11. Might want to take care of business a little more handily against the team from Greeley if you want to make a statement like that.
  12. Not ashamed at all. My degree at NDSU had absolutely zero to do with agriculture so I have no connection to that part of the University.
  13. From the UND debate handbook: Rule 1. Quickly change the subject to either hockey or farming the minute an NDSU graduate makes you feel inferior. Keep taking credit for NDSU's accomplishments on the football field if it makes you feel better in your circle of friends.
  14. Seems like it would be embarassing for a UND fan to have to correct people all the time and say "No we are the hockey school, our football team is awful, you're thinking of NDSU".
  15. Haven't you learned the rules of the internet yet? Personal attack=Not smart enough to come up with an insightful rebuttal.
  16. And people where I live constantly ask me what happened to my Bison in college hockey this year. Says more about the person and their level of knowledge than anything else.
  17. You should associate yourself with a higher caliber of people. These are the same people who think North and South Dakota are a territory called Dakota.
  18. And by your standards Alabama is not absolved. Can't have it both ways Duke, which is it?
  19. http://www.al.com/alabamafootball/index.ssf/2013/04/tuscaloosa_county_grand_jury_i.html No need to wonder, they invented this handy thing called google.
  20. What's more interesting is his post was neither sympathetic nor indicting. Apparently, objectivity isn't seen as a virtue around here.
  21. As much as I don't want to agree, I think this is probably a pretty fair assessment of the situation. I will say though, the players who are accused in this latest incident weren't under Bohl's authority during the original incident. Maybe that can tell us something about how it was really treated behind the scenes for the players on the team. The players who were still with the team obviously had it demonstrated to them it was more serious than the ones who weren't with the team.
  22. What's the old saying about running out of ideas so turning to personal insults? Thanks for giving me credit for having a superior mind, I appreciate the complement.
  23. Wow, how much more can you sensationalize and generalize one incident? As I said, no player will either disown these guys or defend their actions. Fans are great, but "Once a Bison, Always a Bison" doesn't have one thing to do with a fan.
  24. At least in your own mind you do.
  25. And the only thing he should expect to hear is "no comment".
