I would say being it's a Thursday night game, it's more about people having to travel than it is what else there is to do.

It will be sold out, whether or not all those people come to the game is another story. Edit: My guess is it will be packed. Raising a banner tends to bring people out.

I have no idea how many people tailgate at NDSU games, I just know it's a lot. I am not saying it's true, because I don't know, but I wouldn't be surprised if more people tailgated than went to the games. I know of many, many people who tailgate with no plans of going to the game.

Just working off past results Darell. That was UND's average attendance last year. So projecting anything different is just you adding your own opinion into the scenario. Also, you're first home game is against Valpo on a Thursday night. Not exactly a hot ticket. Don't get too worked up man, I meant it as a joke.

Darell, neither UND or NDSU need to play each other at this point in history. My guess is the next NDSU v. UND game will take place in the playoffs. In my mind that would be a great way to begin the series again. I am actually excited that the rivalry will likely re-start that way. Until then...LET. IT. GO. You're talking yourself in circles.

I'm all for moving on as well. But there is a bit of a difference between dropping a game in November or December and dropping the game in February. The timing is what put NDSU is tough spot, not the dropping of the game. As far as the Ferris game goes, I'm definitely not excited about it, but the goal is always to make the playoffs and get the good OOC games in the FD in November and December. Hopefully that works out again for NDSU this year. We'll see.

Never once did I say the police abused their power in this case. In fact, it appears the police did a fine job. Respond directly to my question please, this is unrelated to the current discussion, so don't accuse me of saying the police were wrong in this case. Do you feel law enforcement is infallible?
