    Kate Fagan on Outside the Lines said the most under reported story of the week was UND cutting women's hockey. She backed that statement up by saying UND has 8 members currently on the US Women's World Cup Team and that cutting UND W hockey is like cutting UConn's women's basketball... "That's how dominant that program had been."

    All that over one word? It is unfair to those affected but did I say life is fair? Was I being a crybaby two sentences later when I said it's probably good for UND?

    UND was never asked because there B10 never had any interest in adding und. It has been an unsubstantiated rumor from the beginning.

    I'm giving him a pass on this one. It's his livelihood that is also taking a hit today. His friends just lost their jobs and some people he has really come to know will be leaving in the near future. It's unfair, it's not fun for anyone. I don't understand those who are giddy about this decision. Is it good for UND? It seems like it, but these are still people that are being affected. Brad is a reporter yes, but he's not tweeting from the Herald account. He's expressing his feelings on his personal account and I'm sure he's not having the best day, just like the Hockey and S/D athletes and coaches aren't.

    Because until the end of practice, they thought they would be playing next year? Surely, you don't think the men's team isn't going to skate until September...

    Certainly, if it is public it would be very simple to provide the tweet or facebook post that the REA had. Feel free to put it here. Until then, we have a picture from WHockey showing them practicing on the ice today.

    Continue on your little crusade to somehow show that picture wasn't actually taken today. Several people have shown you're wrong.

    With the Blues trying to hang on to that last playoff spot and possibly move up in the Central, there doesn't seem to be a lot of options for Pogo right this second. He isn't going to play with the Blues this season so why rush into it?

    His health has been declining the past couple of seasons. Some people within the NCHC don't think he has the energy to continue.

    If it takes three officials to look at a review, chances are it should stand as called.

    But his wrist could be bad enough that it affects his performance down the line. Will Tucker's shoulder fully heal properly or will he be out of the league in three years? Is it worth a major or even career ending injury for that one more unpaid year in college? For some of the guys, it's a legitimate question.

    AF should stay with Atlantic Hockey. It's smart for them to be a top dog in AH. In the WCHA they will be going up against slightly tougher teams and may not make the tournament again.
