Congrats to Wanzek on throwing a 2 yard td pass to Heidelbaugh....
-
Feel free to go to 3:00 of this video:
-
I was talking about the camera work. The signal quality was great.
-
USD up 34-28 with under 10 in the 4th. Live stream available on their website although it's a bit tough to watch
-
I hear not offering up cheaper or free tickets as a reward for another purchase is a bad idea. Less than 9,000 it is!

The injury to Bartels is on himself. He dropped his shoulder on a guy much bigger than him.... stupid move.
-
Yup... just have to find a place with the game. I believe UNDColorado is going to be in FoCo Friday night so he might have a place that we can attend on Saturday.

This week's Stump the Coach video from the NCHC is Miami. Great answers plus another shout out to the Ralph and UND fans. http://www.nchc.tv/nchc/video/nchc-stump-the-coach-game-show---miami-10-26-16

That depends. From his response, it seems like he paid for 20 mbps service. Which actually isn't a full 20 even if connected via ethernet cable. Combine that with him using a wireless setup and us not knowing how far away his computer is from his router it could be a pretty slow connection.

I received a coupon for 50% off a patagonia jacket that I had been interested in buying but wouldn't have done otherwise. Is the jacket not as good as it was had I paid full price? Clearly, Patagonia felt there was a need to get more sales. I now have a high quality jacket and in the future I'll compare that to other jackets when I'm buying. Patagonia has a quality product that will keep me returning as a customer even at full price. The seating chart shows there is a need for more people in the stands. Providing people who are on the fence a bigger incentive to go is not a bad idea. There are still tickets on the shelves so why not increase the number of people accessing your product while it's still growing?
-
Wouldn't be a bad idea. Give away the worst seats in the house on Friday. If someone buys any effing hawks merchandise they get 4 tickets.
-
I'm assuming you mean 20 mbps. Regardless, that's really slow if you have fiber.
-
No need to buy tickets in advance. There will be plenty of open seats. However, I'd recommend buying some in E or F as that's usually mostly UND fans. Very few of us sit in the visiting fan section.

And your W2 while you're at it

The second video for Stump the Coach from the NCHC is up. This time it's DU. Not as funny as CC but still some great interaction between Monty and Will Butcher: http://www.nchc.tv/nchc/video/nchc-stump-the-coach-game-show---denver-10-19-16

Has anyone tried watching non-UND games on nchc.tv? I haven't but I'm curious if other schools are having the same issue or if it could be related to the feed UND is sending to Neulion.
-
So now schools are moving up only to move back in a couple of years?
-
I see the NCHC is also starting a weekly preview of all of the NCHC games. It's a nice all-around wrap-up of the games and even has a "feature series" where they go a little bit more in-depth. Cam has a pretty good quote too: http://www.nchc.tv/nchc/video/nchc-nchc-morning-skate---episode-1-10-14-16

Shameless plug here but I highly recommend checking out the new NCHC Video Series "Stump the Coach." At media day, each coach was brought into a room and asked six questions based on how their player would respond. Then the player comes in and reveals his answers with the coach right there. Think something like the newly-wed game. CC is up first and having seen all of the videos, I think it's really gives a good look at the relationships some of these coaches and their players have. I love that CC is able to laugh at themselves about their lack of success recently. There will be a new one each week, alphabetically by team so DU is up next week. There is also going to be a discussion of the Ralph in nearly every episode of this as one of the questions tends to get the same answer Here is CC's: http://www.nchc.tv/nchc/video/nchc-stump-the-coach-game-show---colorado-college-10-12-16

Honestly, by 2030 someone will have invented teleportation and "home games" will no longer be a thing. Everyone will just teleport to our new 600,000 seat, open-air, stadium 15,000 feet in the sky.

I believe this is the 1st time you've been right about something in quite a while!
-
How has it failed you? It's worked flawlessly for me on a laptop and on my cellphone connected to wifi.

Tickets are easy to come by. In the past, most UND fans sat on the home team side, in sections E & F. One year, we just posted up in the front of the student section right behind the UND bench. There really aren't a lot of great options in Greeley. Some chain restaurant/bars, WeldWerks brewery and some good mexican food. Fort Collins is a million times better. UNDColorado, what can we look for at your tailgate? Big flag, etc? We will likely be there around 9 so we can get a good start on tailgating.

I get punishing the school a bit because the infractions weren't caught until late in the game. However, I'm not a big fan of punishing the new coach. I think NCAA penalties should be on the coach and follow them around. Fine the coach X amount of dollars, ban them from coaching in NCAA for 10 years. UNC is going to feel the affects of Hill for several years, yet Hill just needs to go out and find a nice D3 job to "get back on his feet."
-
I'll be there as well. Usually a decent number of UND fans. I highly recommend going to WeldWerks Brewery. It's owned by a friend of a friend and he does a great job. We usually stay in Fort Collins the night of the game as there are more options for things to do than Greeley.
