So now we're supposed to believe the MFVC is better than the Big Sky because of "potential results?" UND did beat USD. Cal Poly beat SDSU UNI lost to EWU. UND would be undefeated if they played Stony Brook and Bowling Green right now. Does that mean they should be ranked as the #1 team in FCS?

I like the NDSU consistency on head to head. Sagarin is crap. EWU's biggest win is bigger than NDSU's biggest win. Or does that not matter that much?

It wouldn't be. It's a Big Sky event not an NCAA event. Similar to how the hockey team would be able to wear Sioux jerseys during regular season and WCHA playoffs but not in NCAA tournament.

Your reading comprehension sucks. He said the Big Sky is better head to head. Any ranking system that has UNI ranked in the Top 15 when they're 5-5 can be thrown out. A win over the #20 FBS team in the country and a lone OT loss to the #2 FCS team on the road is better than a win over an unranked FBS team and a loss at home to a 7-3 FCS team. Both teams have beat all but one of the AGS Top 25 they've played this year.

One team has a win against an FBS team that is 8-2, the other against a team that is 6-4. I think the former is a bit bigger than the latter.

Did you ever read the message boards on the Big Sky before UND joined? They wanted nothing to do with UND. Apparently, message board fans don't make conference decisions.

I think the only enticing thing about SlumValley is getting the other Dakota's back on the schedule regularly. If we already have home/homes for the big 4 revenue sports then I don't see a need to move. However, since consistent scheduling with those three has been so difficult and sporadic then I think the move may be beneficial.

It was a good time. We started out as a group of 5 and soon enough there were about 25 UND fans around us. We were the first group there, starting at about 8:15.

Hypothetically, what happens to your WAC idea if UND joins the MVFC and Summit? I have a feeling you'll find a way to spin that as und just recruiting other schools to the WAC.

One thing I saw about this Top 10 was that the committee really felt the pressure from fans and administrations about not putting in a full effort to analyze those last few teams in. It seems like they know they screwed up and just wanted to get to their post-meeting drinks. Hopefully, screwing over UND last year is still on their minds when they get in the room in a few weeks.
