Yes, but it also generates buzz and interest in the candidate and the program. UND wants to keep Knight's name in the minds of the actual Hobey voters and ensure that folks are aware of his accomplishments and why he should be considered. A handful of schools have ramped up the Hobey buzz by creating websites, etc. for its candidates. A nice marketing tool for the player and the program.

I was at the game and thought it was quite ugly. At the same time, the team had some really bad breaks (ie: Gleason's stick breaking on the PP). and the score should have been a little closer. Defense needs to tighten up and the offense needs to get it together... so many bad passes and miscommunication. Lastly, I''ll admit that I was embarrassed by Pattyn's behavior at the end of the game. Even the players were urging him to go down the tunnel and he still kept going.

I thought Rocco played really well Friday night. He was all over the place and even drew a powerplay due to his speed. Tonight he was a little quieter but I don't think he played poorly.
