I don't think Hexy offers more the Knight on that 1st line, but I really like Hexy playing with Kristo. I'd flip flop Knight and Hexy.

As I mentioned in an earlier thread, I was to play the TPC at Sawgrass earlier this week. Well, I played it on Wednesday. What an experience! I was issued many souvenirs after my round. Thought it would be fun to have a contest to see who could guess what I did on the 17th island green par 3. Winner will get an offical yardage book from the stadium course, logo golf ball and a history/storytelling book about the Player Championship as well. You just need to guess: 1) how many balls it took me to hit the green. 2) how close I was to the pin when I hit the green. 3) what my score was after putting out. The hole played 118 yards to the flag with a 5-10 mph wind in my face. I played in a charitable 2-man tournament. My partner went 1st and hit just onto the back left of the green right in front of the walking path to the island green. I hit after him. Need to have your "answers" posted by 11:59 PM this Sunday. I'll post the winner Monday morning.

Agree with all you have written. One of the best defensive games played by UND to date. Woog referenced UMD had 7...SEVEN...SOG mid way thru the game. Thought Kristo was a one man wrecking crew in the offensive end most of the night. Look forward to watching tonight's game. Frattin's rest will help. Wouldn't be suprised to see Toews either. Going to be a tough one tonight. UND is going to have to get the 1st goal to have a chance.
-
Per Brad's tweet: D pairings the same. Cichy & Bruno in...Toews & Rowney out. Why Rowney? Thought that he has been pretty good as of late. Hurt?
-
TH and Ole were saying that a good portion of the game, the crowd needs to get into it and that UND needs to give the crowd something to get going. Sounds like the crowd picked it up after Frat's goal, but that ended quickly.

Listened to game on computer last night. Sounds like UND had a rough night. Speaking of a rough night...listened to game in Ohara. Was standed there for 9 hrs. Bad weather. Got to my hotel in Jacksonville, FL at 4 am!!! Just going to enjoy some sun with a large bucket of balls in a while. I know I'll have a better day than yesterday and I have no doubt UND will tonight as well!! GO SIOUX!
-
I like the looks of those last two lines you got. Toews centering the 2 Fr. could be very productive. Zajac's line would be just a physical terror all game long. I'm sold...UND wins 9-1!
-
Davidson for who??? Hopefully Marto isn't still nicked up. I expect Toews to play very well. Hexy will become a boil on the skin of the Gophers before this series is over. He missed the series in MSP so you know he's primed for a big weekend.

AZ getting the gameday festivities started early...nice! Excited to see it live! If BE plays like has been lately, UND will win. UND will pepper Kangas and he'll play his usual game at the Ralph. I'm gona say UND 4-2!
-
I've played Ocotillo. For an AZ course, lots of water hazards...hit straight! You finish your round with the same ball you start with...a frosty one is on me!

Will be there loud and proud Friday with white on! My wife and I are flying to Fl. Sat. afternoon...I got tee times at the Sawgrass Valley course and TPC Stadium course early next week. Suggested that maybe we could move our flight to Sunday so that I could take my two daughters to both Sioux victories!! (Tried to use my children as pawns...I know shameless!) Can you guess what my wife's response was??? Anyone want to set the over/under on how many shots I need to stick the 17th green at the Stadium course. Already told myself I'm going "Tin Cup" until I stick one!

To SIOUXPR: This is the first post that referenced "gay" in this thread...in it's context, I took gay to be one of it's definition: brightly colored and showy! The thread did take a direct u-turn from there, but some of these posts are classic.

With a nose like that you either have a raging case of Acne Rosacea or you're on an IV drip of JD!

Classic!

Had to see what all the fuss was about in this thread. Started reading at page 4...by middle of page 6, I couldn't see as I was laughing so hard my eyes were watering! Always glad to see SIOUXPR is the voice of reason!

Officiating Crew for First Round of the WCHA tourney, Goofs vs. UND
Oxbow6 replied to undchris's topic in Men's Hockey
IF we get Anderson, here's exactly what you can expect: Friday, he'll let the boys play and if that happens, UND wins. Sat., he'll have Blood going to the box at least 3 times in the first 30 minutes with at least another 5-6 penalities on UND to boot before the night is over. Edge Gophs. Sunday (if needed)...? He is so inconsistant, it's mind numbing. He can call a reasonable game one night, then just be a total train wreck the next. The players will/can adapt early on, but the inconsistancy is what drives them nuts. -
And if the Hummer's green, do I get "eco" cred for that as well?
-
I'm thinking when they hit oil near our family land by Parshall, I just might have to buy a big used Hummer. Make that 2, one for me and one for MplsBison!
-
Unfortunately, Adams is a fall guy...one of many I'm sure to be revealed...from trying to function under the tyranny of Joe.
-
NWS just gave updated forecast for '10 flooding. Little better outlook than 2 weeks ago. In Fargo, 50% chance to reach 38 ft. (which frankly is not much to worry about) and 10% chance to reach 42 ft. Now we got issues!!!

I would like to hear your opinion on the fact that there are NDSU higher ups, not a supporting pundit like yourself, that are starting to see Joe for truly what his character is...self-serving, arrogant, unethical, ...just to state a few. You can sit behind a computer screen and deny what you want, but when I have an SU higher up, and I mean big time player in NDSU's matters, tell me Joe was basically a crook and a train wreck as a president, what say you? Blindly supporting someone (Joe) whose house of cards is REALLY going to start to crumble soon is either ignorance or arrogance on your part!
-
I hear ya...just was hoping the likes of MplsBison would maybe see it's not UND folks calling Joe a crook, but his "friends" and those way, way up the SU power ladder. I guess the depth of Joe's sense of entitlement and abuse is staggering!
-
As I previously mentioned in my last post in this thread, there is evidence (per what I was told) that these "honest mistakes" were actually a clear pattern of abuse on Joe's part. Bison backers can spin this as much as they want, but Joe was a "crook". As I was told, "crook" not in a legal way, but in an ethical/integrity way.
-
Well, now I do have some inside knowledge. Just got back from getting some coffee. Ran into my NDSU acquaintance, who is well connected. When I say well connected, you have no idea, but for the sake of Bison trolls around here, I will not reveal any more info about him. Our discussion this AM started about Mr. Adams, who I know a little and, I'll call my SU source, Mr. X, , who said he considers Whiskey Joe "a dear friend". Mr. X said Joe was "very clever", "intimidating", "felt a sense of entitlement", "was arrogant"...just to quote a few things. Mr. X said he confronted Joe about his inappropriate actions that have been discussed in this thread, and Mr. X said he has access to all the financial info, and said Joe's blatant abuse of power and his blatant circumventing of the "system" was beyond what even he imagined. "Joe screwed up really bad and I told him "You have to go"." quote per Mr. X. Mr. X stated on this surface it wasn't one specific thing, but there was a "pattern" in the arrogance of Joe that caused him to bully people to make bad decisions for him Mr. X said he doesn't know Mr. Adams personally, but doesn't doubt anything Mr. Adams is saying is not accurate. "I still consider Joe a friend, but I also saw in the end his true arrogance." "Joe never admitted he did ANYTHING wrong and because of that I just couldn't support him any longer." Interesting...
