Agree with your 1st and 2nd forward lines. Pattyn will center St. Clair and Rodwell. Gaarder moves down to center the 4th line. That is not your normal college 4th line. Gaarder is a poor man's Oshie. Chyzyk is better than I anticipated and Caggiula has some nasty to him.

This...^^^^^^^

Sold.

Kristo will have one huge game this weekend. My guess is he goes off Saturday after getting his legs under him tomorrow.

Wow...surprised by that. I would make Cats at a minimum a TD favorite on a neutral field. Was thinking line would've been double digit.

Still available...

That is just a lot to ask from any offense every single time out. The skill is there to put up those numbers every game, but it is really tough to do. The Griz punted 9 times last Saturday. IF UND can get 4 stops a half defensively, they might have a shot. I have said this before, but with the storied defenses we have had in the past this program should never lose a game if we score 35+...even with this awful D. Someone answer me this...UND seems to have a base defense of 2 deep safeties, but yet their corners play off at a minimun of a 7 yard cushion. Why??? IF the safeties have over the top help, shouldn't UND be tighter on the line of scrimmage? Have never seen any team play sooooo soft at the corners when also in a 2 deep safety look.

Not sure what to make of all of this??? Expect to win? Most formidable run game to date? The 'Cats are soft? Excel in hostile enviroments? Not sure I'm with you on any of this. But one thing I do know...MSU is not Sac. St. UND will have to play it's best game by far this year to have any chance late in the game IMO.

I do I...

No chance! Italian Moon buffet before every hockey game.

Agree with assessment above. I really liked UND last week vs. Griz having seen Griz play earlier in year, but the 'Cats are on a different level...and at home. My gut says this one has ugly written all over it.

Griz front 7 is very solid. Problem is u, me, geaux & my 7 yr old daughter would be upgrade in their secondary

Braden made some reads and throws vs. Griz I'm sure he wants back, but he also made some throws that were flat out big time...not many FCS QBs could have made 6-8 throws he made last Saturday.

IMO that was the worst call of the day. That wasn't even close. Tough to not take the 3 points in that situation to tie the game, but that time I felt Muss made the right call. It was 4th and maybe a 1/2 a yard. Braden is what...6'5"?? He easily leaped and extended the ball well past the first down marker before he was pushed back. Really poor spot.

Well said. Hockey has nothing to due with this equation. Even though GF/UND are hockey driven, there is no reason UND shouldn't get 12K for a FB game. It's a product issue...entertaining doesn't cut it, moral victories don't cut it. Until this team beats a FBS squad and/or contends for a legit conference title not much will change IMO. To say the Sioux Falls loss didn't have a significant negative affect on this program is just ignorant. Losses like that cause borderline fans to stay away for a long time.

My brother lives in Springfield, Mo. He saw UND beat PSU and has seen MSU play. He said UND would beat MSU handily given what he has seen from both teams. So there is another MVC team UND more than likely beats as well.

Ding ding ding...we have a winner!

87 pages on this thread to a yes or no question? Putting everything aside...the answer is yes. Was the biggest sporting event of the year and most antiicipated when I was growing up and was until the series ended.

I saw the USD/Griz game in Missoula to start the year. USD sucks...no way UND loses to them anywhere at anytime this year. 3-4 or 4-3 is an accurate assumption. Until we beat a FBS school that game vs. CSU has a 0% chance of being won by UND.
-
Agree...Clark is the real deal. Hopefully he can give us 2 or 3 30+ save shut outs this year in games we are outplayed in and shouldn't win.
-
I believe UND had 10 yards rushing at half (over 400 thru air) so in the 6 plays to start the 2nd half we ran the ball 3 or 4 times for 2 or 3 yards...result was 2 straight 3 and outs. Not to mention running Jake between the tackles on 3rd and 3 just after they stuffed the previous run on 2nd down in 2nd half. So yes...everyone's an expert! And I don't even have 1 Madden.

Little thin skinned aren't you? How should that bother you? Like posted earlier this win was accomplished by the players...period. BTW...any guess who was far and away the most vocal about some of the coaching calls and decisions? Go back in this thread and figure it out. It was a very good win but if you want the duckies, bunnies, rainbows and dewy meadows too boot forget it...there are too many people who actually watch the games and know alittle bout FB.
