Fair enough as I have only seen a handful of his games on TV this season...then he just isn't as good as we all think then. At some point his supposed talent and actual numbers produced need to match up. If he plays hard and his talent is the best in the WCHA his production should be near the top of the league and it isn't.

Best talent in the WCHA and can be the most dominant when he decides to play hard which isn't as often as it should be.

Your 1st sentence is the reason they are an enigma. Square peg in a round hole situation IMO. This is not a grind it out cycle team. They can do it stretches but they play their best when they get out and go. This is why it makes little sense not to have Rocco opposite Danny. There aren't 2 wings on the same line in the country with the speed and skill those two have.

Slump for Drake?? You could throw Parks, OD and Gaarder in that bucket too. Time to step it up. Something is up with Chyzyk...IMO he showed as much if not more offensive ability than the 4 I mentioned above prior to Christmas.
