Let me put it this way...I would love to see him stay but if he leaves N. Schmaltz coming aboard might actually be an upgrade from a productivity standpoint. Having both around next year would be better though.

Of the 4 mentioned above, the only one I feel maybe could have made a jump was Schmaltz after this season...just because he is an immense talent. Rocco is no Gerbe at this stage of his career...and how did things work out for Gerbe leaving early? Decent...but he just ended a one year 2 way deal with Carolina.

My brother lives next door to Brad Pitt's brother...who I have gotten to know...but that doesn't mean I'm in the "know" about Brad or the circle he runs with. I have seen Jennifer Aniston in person albeit off in the distance a ways when see and Brad were together. She is as beautiful in person as she is on TV/movies. Also this just in...Simpson, Mitch and Clark are not coming back next season.

I get what you are saying but thus situation is different than any other in coaching I've seen. Hoffner is doing what any of us would do...taking back what is rightfully his with a chance at redemption.

I'm hearing rumblings...ok lets say rumors and unsubstantiated at that...that it is a coin flip if these 2 come back. But then I heard rumblings from my SU buddies that Bohl would never leave Fargo................... Bottom line Rocco is a great talent, but hasn't produced points wise like some think he should have at this point. No secret that he isn't the easiest guy to play with on the ice due to his unique skill set at this level. Schmaltz IMO is/was easily the best talent on this year's team...when he seemed interested in playing...which wasn't every night.

Would Kelley then require anger management AND sensitivity training for those students involved if it did happen at UND??

You know how I feel bout Bryn. I think he has top 6 skills. Personal issue hopefully aside I expect a big jump in his production next season #mancrush #daughtersaidneverusehashtagsagain

I have no problem saying I slept great last night after watching that final game. And it was funny how my phone didn't "ping" much either!

IMO...OD Colton and Bryn could be a terrific 2 way line for UND next year. Colton and Bryn are tough in the corners and along the walls in both ends and were very very good Thursday.

That's because you keep showing up in my basement to watch college hockey...like last night!!

For what it's worth I though Colton and Bryn played terrific last night.

Regional tickets generally go on sale mid November if my memory is correct.

Woke up...sun is coming up. My beautiful daughter's are smiling that it's Friday and it's the last day of the school week. Bottom line is last night's game is just what happens in sports...the players and coaches move on and fans do too. My youngest daughter has a pink "sleeping" shirt she wears nightly...it reads "FOREVER SIOUX"...in our home that's true win or lose. Can't wait til the puck drops in the '14-'15 season.

Off to bed...over/under is 63 times I replay those last few seconds before I fall asleep..............

Horrible ending and outcome but this team came to play, was prepared and was the better team tonight. It's hockey...it's sports...it's life. Proud of the effort and the game they played.
