All Hail the Common Man...............

Me too.....especially when Big Green, Sundogs, Nodaks and Mongoose (just to name some real winners) are still out there. <eyes rolling>

Goaltending optional at the United Center?

This situation has been handled by Kelley and his crew like most things since he showed up....void of leadership and amateurish.

Wash...rinse...repeat

Agree.....IMO the Wild were the better team most of the last 2 periods. They dominated play the first 13 minutes of the 3rd.

To the X we go tied 1-1..........

Allen has been good...and equally lucky.

Is there a bigger D-bag in the NHL than Ott?

So no Wild game on TV in the F-M area? Awesome...........

Where is gfhockey tracking tail #s when you need him? Simple question.................

Yup. Agree with Irish too. Hak today = good coach. Hak with a NC = great coach. Hak will coach at UND as long as he wants...even if he never wins a NC but to be offended or think it's out of line by those who bring up his 1-7 F4 record and his inability to win a NC with the teams he had had is being ignorant to what this storied hockey program is all about...expecting to win national championships.

The NCAA Championship Game Dream Match-Up: BU vs. PC

Just saw misplayed puck by O'Connor goal highlight. Ouch............ Tough for BU that that's the one that tied it up. -
The 2014-2015 NHL Non-Penguins Non-Bruins Thread

Need it to get to game 6 so I can get down to the X that Sunday to watch. -
Well said.

Interesting, passionate....and winded.....points of view here by some. Breaking this whole conversation down into its simplest form is........the elephant in the room puts on a couple hundred pounds every year that passes without a NC. To not recognize that is not understanding this programs tradition, expectations or its fan base.

People are looking at me on plane I was laughing so hard. That was funny.

Luck? OK....Are you Jayson the SID? As to your last comment.....purely hypothetical statement as it has not happened yet.
-
To your last question......no it doesn't for him. He is satisfied with the status quo..... which is good but never great. And truth......no one wants to hear that as it might require some self reflection and analysis. Hak is a good coach. Great coaches win a NC or more than one. Hak shouldn't be fired as he is a really good coach yet who is surprised by last night? 1-7 and 6 straight losses in F4s can't be chalked up to bad luck, bad bounces and the rest of the verbal nausea of excuses that are made. The one constant in the numbers above is who? It is what it is...like it or not. Most people in life like good as they never experience great. Obliviously this is very common with monkeys or people with their IQ...Trunk Monkey fits this category. As far this tool, the sun is up in Fargo, I have a plan to catch to AZ and a tee time waiting. Looking forward to next season already...there is always next season to possibly be great.

University of North Dakota Hockey 2015-16 season

Agree with all of this...especially on Murphy. 2 years at UND for Murphy and JaySioux and #7 are tied in career goals. I also heard JaySioux has saucy paws in practice...but the is a family forum so I won't elaborate! -

Zane bleeds green probably more than any guy on the team.........and one is always remember for your last game. Doubt he want to be remembered for last night's dumpster fire. My early morning tea leaves says he is back. -

Give me 2 more guys that play like #2 every night and the Schmaltz boys can leave tomorrow. -
Bottom line.... Hak is 1-7 in the F4 with 6 straight semi losses. As good of a coach as he is, this is HIS record and at some point he has to own it. I have become somewhat numb by this repeating disappointment after traveling to Denver and MSP to watch 2 teams I thought were as good as any lay eggs.
