The only thing that the WIU win over SDSU did was give them a winning record and not a losing record. What proceeded after that win for WIU was nothing more than an early Christmas gift.

Hunting in Badlands. Watched game at cabin on Dish. Good win. Like the makeup of this team. Gardner's line is so tough to play against. Fun to watch. Matt is the #1 until he proves he is not. He isn't Dell or Zane but he is doing his job. 9-8-16 are a special trio.

I slept on it and have come to conclusion that FH still sucks and will suck for years to come but it is what it is. I'm an alum, booster and season ticket holder and will continue to be but that doesn't mean I have to like FH.

Local Fox News TV just did a piece on nickname and the Fr. female student they interviewed said she voted FH because it keep "Fighting" in the name. An adjective...... a F'Hawkin' adjective was her reason!!! And don't think she was the only one to vote like that.

Best summation so far. I'll even throw out the word disgraceful....the new nickname, the entire process and Kelley himself.

This process has set back the credibility of this university back a couple years at a minimum to the casual observer.

I have not seen a Jones coached team that is anymore fundamentally sound than a 9th grade girls team. It is so frustrating to watch.
