  1. Agreed. I'd do Seattle way before Austin.

  3. Tough road series upcoming this weekend. I could see this being more similar to the MSUM series...I think offensive chances will be more limited, especially when compared to the BU series. Cornell is big & heavy and experienced. These will be their first two games of the season, so maybe they'll be a bit rusty...we can hope. Someone keeps giving Cornell a #1 vote in the polls (Wodon?), so hopefully UND can knock them down a peg or two.
  4. Geez. When he arrives at UND when he's 17, it'll be similar to what he's experienced in the past:
  5. Monster pickup. Kid is still so young. Let's hope that he makes it to campus...and if he does...that he sticks it out for a couple years. Will be fun to watch!
  6. He's just mad that Sandy wasn't in on this guy.
  7. Doesn't get any easier the next three weekends either. I could see a split the next three weeks against Cornell, UMD, and DU. Cornell is a big, heavy, experienced team like Mankato. We won't get nearly as many scoring chances as we did against BU. Time and space on the ice will have to be earned. Some really really good UND teams have failed to sweep Duluth in Duluth, even if our skill level is superior IMO. And then DU will be a really tough series...they're playing lights out early this season. Going 3-3 in those 6 games doesn't seem awesome, for sure. But then the next three weekends are Robert Morris, BSU, and Miami. I would hope for a 5-1 record at worst in those 6 games.
  8. Perron too. He missed a couple as well.
  9. Hopefully Cornell is a little rusty...they haven't played a game yet this season.
  10. What are the issues with the locker room?
  11. 100% chance of that.
  12. I don't get that sense at all. This team has more young talent and better offensive depth. And probably better goaltending. Last weekend was rough but this weekend showed that this team can compete and beat other high end teams. I would be shocked if this team doesn't make it to Fargo. And hopefully out of Fargo.
  13. James alone was 0/3 or 0/4.
  14. Agreed. UND is better than BU at this point from what I saw this weekend. Some fortunate PP calls both nights and a lot of missed chances for UND.
  15. I think they still owe us 1-2 from the past two games.
  16. Doesn't help that BU looks to have taken a page directly from the UMD playbook on embellishment.
  17. This weekend has shown that Perron has the ability to really take over shifts if he's on his game. If we continue to see more of that moving forward, he's poised for a very good season.
  18. End of 1st 0-1 SOG 8-8
  19. Perron sets up Boisvert for a glorious chance.
  20. I think that just carried over from last night. Like when BU got 5 straight PP chances after UND got their big lead.
  21. BU player falls. UND penalty.
  22. Western up 2-0 on BC. LIU up 3-1 on Notre Dame.
  23. Wiebe took a hit...struggled off..

    BU @ UND

Goalie rotation again for tomorrow with Hobie in net? TJ played well tonight, wasn't tested a ton but made some timely saves.
