  1. I see that you are already looking past BSU. Agreed though. If the season ended today, facing Mich and then possibly Minn would be a tough two-game set to make it to the FF. But I have faith, being that the Sioux managed to get past BU/BC out east last year. It's possible.
  2. The only way that the Gophers won't get sent to REA for the Regional would be if they lose their #1 seed or if the Sioux gain a #1 seed. I don't see either happening.
  3. He won't get it though. Two SCSU players, Reeder and Kronick both had 6pt weekends IIRC.

  5. I disagree. The doubting will continue.
  6. Well that is unfortunate if true.
  7. Bulldogs score again, 5-3 SCSU now.
  8. 2nd over. SOG are 23-21 MSUM.
  9. UMN beat CC 3-2. DU leading UW 2-1 in the 2nd.
  10. That it is. Sioux on the PP. Tech scores with 23 sec left to tie it up 2-2 with UAA. Going to OT.
  11. Kaip sounds like he is playing much better tonight. That's good to hear.
  12. Radke and Parise.
  13. Gametime in about a half hour.
  14. Dubel.
  15. So you're saying that the Sioux fans should have thrown garbage on the ice after Irmen did his 'jersey tug' taunt? I mean, like you said, he provoked them.
  16. Ahh. I thought I remembered him on my NHL PC mod for NCAA hockey playing on the Sioux team. Forgot if he actually played for us or not though.
  17. I was surprised to see SLU get a #1 seed. Didn't expect them to be up there so high. I like this bracket for the Sioux: Grand Forks CHA Champion vs. Miami North Dakota vs. Ohio State They'd have a good couple games with Ohio and Miami, but I think that they could beat both teams (they've already beaten Miami once this season) and get to the FF. We'll see how things change with the rest of the season.
  18. Would love to see Christian in a Sioux uni in the future. Is he a junior or senior this year? I could see him spending a year in the USHL before heading (hopefully) to the Sioux.
  19. Agreed. And then with SCSU coming to REA next weekend, these are both teams below the Sioux in the standings. Hopefully the Sioux can at least go 3-1 in those 4 games, maybe even get 4 wins at home in a row . We'll see what happens, but I agree that these are a pivotal two series coming up.
  20. That tourney would rock to watch. Some of those teams are in for a rude awakening going against some ex-collegiate players/pro players. Jeff Yureko is playing! He's on the Bullets. Wasn't he supposed to come to UND to play? The team with Armbrust, Henderson, and Spiewak will probably do pretty well. A combo of Spiewak's speed on the pond plus Henderson's NCAA FF MVP experience will make them a formidable team.
  21. I agree here too. If the Sioux manage to win 8 of their final 12 WCHA games after being .500 to this point, I would be very happy. And I think that 8 wins would definitely give them at least 5th place in the league. But I really would love to see them go on a hot streak in the next few months here....
  22. I fully agree. While I would love it if the Sioux could finish 10-2, I just don't see it happening. Unless they found their 'motivation' with their performance in the Sat night Minnie game.
  23. He's a walk-on.
  24. I guess it is hard to say if he intended to do it or not. I would think that if he did, that he regrets doing it and would take it back if he could. From a player's perspective, I know that sometimes the puck leaves the stick in a way that you didn't intend. Whether it be the angle/movement of the stick, or what, but sometimes it just doesn't go where you want it to. Like when you shoot the puck over the boards while playing outdoor hockey (crap, now I have to go find it in the snow! ). Even players in the collegiate/pro ranks do it, watching some players missing the net wide on a shot, or better yet, sending it sailing over the net. I'm not trying to say that Lammy didn't intend to do it, because maybe he did, maybe he didn't. But I also think that it could have just been a puck that got away from him while he was trying to bank it off the glass. Only one person knows for sure, and that person is not any of us....or Slap Shot.
