Hey Donald. According to this website, here is the Satellite info: Satellite Info Intelsat Americas 6 (Galaxy 26) Digital - 93

That Ole thing is quite possibly the most annoying thing I've ever heard in a hockey arena. It may even have the Minnesota spellers beat.

Agreed. I think that they will finish either 4th or 5th. 4th-8th place is going to be a big cluster. You have UMD, SCSU, UW, UMN, and MTU all fighting for home ice. UMD has played 2 more games than SCSU, UW, and UMN, and 4 more games than MTU. UW has by far the easiest remaining schedule of those 5 teams, as they don't have any more games left against UND, DU, or CC. MTU has the toughest schedule, as they still have to face CC and DU. This weekend could provide some separation with those 5 teams, as UMD is playing OOC, SCSU plays Mankato, Tech plays CC, and UMN and UW square off. I would rather the Sioux not have to face UMN, UW, or SCSU in the first round. I would feel more comfortable with them playing UAA, MSUM, MTU, or UMD.

"NCAA grass might not be so green" Now it all makes perfect sense. The NCAA is so messed up because they're high all the time!

I think that the other 2 scoring lines are already "going". The Sioux have benefited from having some very balanced scoring this season. All 4 lines are producing on some weekends, which is great to see. I loved watching Dubay when the Gophers visited the Ralph, saying that the Sioux are a one line team, despite what Hakstol told him. The funniest thing about it was that he was still holding that opinion after a 4-2 Gopher loss in which Genoway, Kaip, Watkins, and Malone were the goal scorers for the Sioux.

Crazy to see 4 WCHA teams near the bubble in spots 15-18 (SCSU, UW, UMN, UMD).
-
I could see the WCHA losing out on a couple good Canadian players, ones that may just want to stay closer to home. The blue-chipper Canadian players would probably still want to go to a more well-known US university like UND though, as they have been proven to prepare players for the next level. I'm not sure I'm excited about seeing Canadian teams in the NCAA tourney though. Would anyone really care about a Frozen Four championship between Alberta and UBC? Besides people in Canada, that is.

And UAA is leading UW 3-2 after 1 period. That's like a whole month of offense for those two teams, not sure what happened there.
-
CC 2 UAF 1 DU 4 BSU 2 Both are finals.
-
If by "a bunch" you mean two. I like a returning D-corps of Marto, LaPoint, Genoway, and Jones. Those are 4 solid dmen. Throw in a couple of talented freshmen, and we have the makings of another solid defensive group. Not as experienced as this year's group, but very talented.
-
DU leads BSU 3-2, but BSU is just starting a 5min PP on a DU CFB.
-
DU and BSU tied at 1 now.
-
I noticed that as well. It will be interesting to see what they do against the Gophers in a couple weeks.
-
BSU leads DU 1-0, and now have a PP.

Mine is running smooth.

I wish Notre Dame would have beaten UM last night. I would like UM and Miami to lose some games to give the Sioux a shot at a #1 seed. Although either way, it will be fun watching Miami and Michigan fail to advance past the regionals again this year. Especially after all the talk of the CCHA being so dominant this year, despite only having 3 or 4 good teams in the entire league.
-
Agreed. I would much rather the Sioux face MTU, MSUM, or UAA in the first round playoffs then UW or even UMN if things finish close to how they are now. The thought of having to win 2 games against UW or UMN with a shot at the F5 on the line doesn't interest me. I have faith that the Sioux could win, but there are easier paths to St Paul.
-
I saw that too. An embarrassing defeat? Maybe because his coach wouldn't let him take any punches!
-
UW wins 2-1 over UAA.
-
Mannino has had a couple of bad games in a row for DU. He was pulled for the 2nd game in a row tonight after he let in 4 goals on 13 shots. DU looks to have controlled play (sog were 31-16 DU), but it is really good to see Air Force get a W against them. What's more boring than watching a UW/UAA game? Following a UW/UAA game via a live stats website.

You mean Rick Nash?

I'll go with Oshie tonight.
-
LaPoint only missed last weekend against Tech. He played in the Sat 6-2 win against SCSU, picked up an assist, and was a +1. http://www.collegehockeystats.net/0708/boxes/mndkstc1.j05

Wow. The top line that we have been waiting all year to see! Trupp has acclimated to the WCHA, and is now looking really good out there. Something tells me that he will click well with Oshie and Duncan and that we will see this line for the rest of the season.
